3rd POV Rowan Rowan knew something was wrong before Allison even stepped into the building. He felt it the moment she crossed onto school grounds. It wasn’t obvious—not to anyone else. To everyone else, she looked the same. Same posture. Same guarded expression. Same sharp edge she carried like armor. She walked through the halls like she always did, head high, shoulders squared, daring the world to challenge her. But underneath it? Unstable. Like a wire pulled too tight, ready to snap under the slightest pressure.
