How I managed to get to the hospital wasn't something I could comprehend. My hands shook around the wheel repeatedly and my vision blurred with tears.
I had to do it even though I had desperately wanted a baby for 3 years. For my entire life I had wanted someone to pour the love I craved on but now… now, I couldn't do that.
I couldn't bear a child for that monster.
Lucien would use the baby against me.
More tears poured as I ran my hand over my belly. Lucien would make my life another hell if he found out about another leverage.
And Seraphina. Maybe she wouldn't plan to make me disappear anymore. She'd end me in broad daylight and make some stories up.
