POV: Dinah Cade suddenly noticed my actions and could surprisingly guess the reason. “Worried about the little man?” I nodded quickly. “He would be awake by now.” He hesitated for a moment and then reached into his pocket and handed me his car keys. “Take my car back.” “I can take the one I came in,” I replied. Cade lowered his head and placed the keys in my hand anyway, the spark between us lingering a moment too long and I could tell he felt it as our eyes met briefly. “The car you drove earlier belongs to my mother. She said she wants to drive it later.” So that was it. Usually left unused in the garage, but now that I’d driven it, his mother wanted it back.
