“Damn where is Magda at, I really need a drink about now?” she said and moved her hair behind her right ear. Misha turned again to look at the woman who spoke, he placed his drink on the counter. “That might be my fault. I ordered food, she is in the back,” he said. The woman turned in her stool to face him. She smiled as she took in his appearance. “What this, someone brave enough to eat the food here?” she asked. She definitely stood out in this bar, even more so than him. She was around his age, or at least younger then the crowd around them. She had long black hair that reached down to her mid back and a flawless complexion. The make up on her face only helped to enhance her natural beauty, although her outfit didn’t leave much to the imagination. She had a slim figure but her hips still had a width to them. “I’ve learned not to be picky with food,” he replied with a shrug. “Well it’s pretty brave if you ask me,” she said and extended a hand to him, “Carmen Teller, it’s nice to meet you…? He took her hand in his and shook it, “Misha Panache, pleasure’s mine,” he said. “Misha Panache, now that sounds like an alias if I’ve ever heard one,” she said with a coy smile, “And you do kinda look like someone who is running from something.” He took another swig from his drink, “Maybe I’m running towards something,” he said and shrugged his shoulders. “Well either way you’ve clearly seen some things, it’s written all over your face,” she responded, her smile still present. Just then the door to the kitchen opened and Magda emerged holding a plate with his burger on it. “Here you are darling, hope you can stomach it,” she said and slide the burger across the counter. “Thanks again,” he said and examined the plate in front of him. Magda smiled and turned her attention to Carmen, “Now ain’t you a sight for sore eyes, thought you’d never turn up around her again,” she said with a warm smile. Carmen gave a small chuckle. “You know me Mags, love to stay busy,” she said “Can I get a beer?” Magda nodded and turned to pour her drink, “sure thing sugar.” “So, you still haven’t told me where your headed,” she said as she turned to take her drink from Magda. He laughed to himself a bit, “I suppose I didn’t.” The overhead light caught her eye giving it a glint. “Ooh, a man of mystery?” she asked with a small smirk, “I like that.” She placed her right hand on his thigh gently. He glanced at her hand then back to his plate, he lifted the stale burger and took a bite. He couldn’t help but frown at the taste. “How is it?” she asked while she tried to hold in her amusement. “Eh, I’ve had worse,” he said and shrugged continuing to chew. She looked down at her drink and bit her bottom lip. She picked up the glass and downed the rest of her drink. Once finished she turned back to Misha, her face flushed. “I like you Misha, you’re not like the usual men that come here.” He gave a haphazard look around at the other patrons, “Well I’ll take that as a compliment,” he said and smirked. She bit her lip again and took his hand in hers, “I know this may seem a bit forward but, if you want I have something you could eat that’s much better than that burger,” she gave him a sultry look. He swallowed his food and washed it down with the rest of his beer. “Is that so?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. “Mhm, if you want we could go out to your car and I could let you sample my special menu,” she said and leaned a bit closer causing her low top to shift revealing more of her ample cleavage. She leaned in close her crimson red lips almost brushing his ear. “If you’re interested you can meet me out front,” she placed the money for her drink down on the counter. Misha watched as she weaved her way through the crowd, her hips swayed a bit with each step. Once she reached the door he turned back to the bar and waved toward Magda. “You all ready to settle up darling?” she asked as she walked up. “Yeah, thank you it wasn’t so bad,” he said and laid a five-dollar bill on the counter. “Mind if I ask you something?” “Fire away,” she said as he picked up his glass and plate. “That woman Carmen, what’s her deal?” he asked. “Oh her, she comes here on the weekends to hang around, she’s a nice enough girl,” she replied and smiled. “Alright, thanks again,” he said and gave a small salute as he stood from his seat. “Come again real soon, ya hear,” she said and watched him head towards the door.
