The celebration continued on after a while, the indication of it was heard even if she and Adam were already inside closed door. The man had taken her to her room, letting her sit on the couch while he took off his coat and folded his sleeves. She watches as he exposes his metal hand, the sight of it reminds her of the hospital, of Nancy and Doctor Harrington. Her chest only tightened with the memory of the time she was only struggling with her memories and nothing else. The thought that they are going forward with their life while she is stuck in here pains her. Nancy and Franco may be married by now while Doctor Harrington might be continuing on with his practice yet mayhap finding love as well. The latter had her stomach knotting and the feeling is confusing as it is unexpected.
