Freira looked out from her window to see the fishermen discharging their catch from the boat. She was searching for Ambrose from one boat after the other and when she was not able to see him from afar, she went out of the house and pretended to pick up some flowers in her yard.
With glimpses of what is happening below, she realized Ambrose was not there. Seeing the women who usually went there looked disappointed, it was easy to conclude that the reason why they went there is absent. She went back inside and just prepared for work.
