What she had with the Aces is definitely a mystery to her. It was a push and pull kind of thing. They would either be gentle or harsh, they would either protect her or put her to harm. But she could never deny that in this world she is currently in, they are the safest place she could ever go to which explains why her strong attachment to them. That despite everything they have, she would still go to them because they are able to take out the nightmares overcoming her.
Was it so wrong to want for something peaceful when all she had been through is nothing but chaos, both externally and internally?
