The sun was setting when Adam said Clyde would be arriving any minute, therefore, leaving her embroidery, they headed out of her room and went to the main door so they could wait for the man’s arrival. Admittedly, she would prefer staying in her room and not face Adam’s brother. Clyde is just very much capable of making her anxious***** his unfiltered words, obvious interest, and such beauty that rivals hers. It just doesn’t make sense why he would have his eyes on her when he could have any woman he wants.
Regardless, she still went with Adam by the entrance and waited. She wouldn’t want him to think that she is uncomfortable when Clyde is around. It would only make Adam start building up ideas on how to have that information as an advantage for his future plans for her.
