“This is the place I was telling you about, Zader. We have to be careful now,” said Dream Girl.
We were kneeling behind a tower carved out of rough stone. She stood and peeked around the corner, then motioned me to stand.
“Ready to fly?” she asked.
I nodded and pushed off, effortlessly rising near the tower’s peak to hover behind a rampart. Below us was a medieval courtyard. People in brightly colored clothes were scurrying in and out of doors and through archways, carrying chests and baskets full of things I couldn’t identify, but somehow knew were very valuable.
