Emily woke to the sound of the old lady moving around in the back room. Silently she dressed, put on her trainers, slipped out of her room and onto the veranda. Here she paused for a moment or two to consider her next move. She had to go and see Areti. There were questions to ask and she felt sure that Areti had the answers to them, felt too that Areti had wanted to unburden herself of something for a long while.
