In the days that passed, the students continued their education and training. The classroom learning was pretty much the same as what they were used to in the Jin Empire. It was the training that was different, the style being unique only to the Spirit House in the whole Academy.
Instead of getting constant instruction from the professor, the students were basically left alone for a majority of the block to practice whatever they wanted. Towards the end of their time, they would display what they had been practicing in front of everyone and get critiqued by their peers for improvement. This allowed the students to get to know each other and see various magic techniques up close.
