I slept like I hadn’t in days, wrapped in the warmth of the moment and the faint scent of him still lingering on my skin. The gentle rise and fall of my breath mirrored the rhythm of the ocean around me. The soft hum of the yacht, the distant creak of the wooden beams, the gentle sway of the water beneath—it was the most peaceful I’d felt in so long. I felt as though the entire world was cradling me.
