I responded, panic forming all over me in an instant. I turned to Sai one more time, giving her that look which was clear enough to tell her that I am not done with her!
Then I walked out.
As I walked out of the banquet, I could hear Theodore calling out to me but I refused to listen to him. I got outside and drove off with the car. He can order an Uber, I don't care!
