After what happened on Monday, the rest of the week went by quickly and quietly. I didn't have any more unexpected visitors, and I made it through all of my tests without any problems. I also managed to stop by the diner a few times to do the paperwork and make sure that everything was going OK there.
I was starting to get worried because the last time that I had heard from Nonna or any of the guys was when I woke up on Sunday morning. I've texted and called them all a few times and haven't heard back from them. I even called Aunt Bella, and she's not heard from them either. She said that if she didn't hear back from Uncle Zain by Friday, then she'd fly out there. I told her that I would go with her because I was worried as well.
