When we pulled into the airport and saw my dad, Marcello's dad, my uncle, and my cousin and his husband I was surprised. When I called to tell them what happened, I never figured that they would show up out here to go with us. I figured that we would see them when we got back. But I should've known better. Chris and Ren have been there for River since she was ten. To them, she is their daughter.
To my uncle, she is his granddaughter, and, of course, my dad and Marcello's dad both already look at her as their daughter-in-law. So I should've known that they would show up to go with us. All of our dads wanted to be with us to help us and support us. I'm sure that if my mom or well any of our moms had their way, they would've been with us as well.
