"Aries, patulong!"

I hurriedly grabbed the stapler and handed it over to one of the staff. I almost forgot, I'm a council now. I had to eventually help them. Lalo na't bukas na darating ang mga guests.

"Which color do you think would fit with gold?" Tanong sakin ni Ate Press.

"Uhh," I tilted my had and took the ribbons, itinapat ko iyon sa gold na mga accents sa gym. "This one."

"Black?" Tanong nito. "Same talaga kayo ng taste ni Archi, ah." Pang aasar nito na ikinangiwi ko lang. I awkwardly smiled at her before walking away and helped Pierce with the tables at the side of the gymnasium.

He threw the other side of the silk tablecloth to me, and as I was fixing the table to avoid lumps and folds, Pierce is gently arranging the table accents, plates and glasses for the guests.

Akmang lilipat na si Pierce sa kabilang lamesa nang may maalala ako.

"Oi, Pers," he looked back at me but he tilted his head to gesture me to follow him to the next table, and so I did. "Pwede pa favor?" I gave her a cute smile, hope it's manipulative enough.

He glanced at me for a sec before grabbing the tablecloth and threw the other side towards me. "Ano?"

"Pwede mo bang sundoin ang bisita ko sa gate? I'll be busy tonight, pinapatawag kami ni Chandler." Virgo and Nimue are arriving tonight. Baka hindi ko sila ma occupy for tonight. Kahit si Nimue, nakapunta na siya dito noon, anito hindi na daw niya kabisado ang mga daan.

"Ilan ba sila?"

"Dalawa lang," I smoothed the tablecloth with my palms. "Please?"

He just nodded and I gave him a wide smile.

And the day went on. Last time I checked, it's already nearing 6pm. Nag text sa'kin si Virgo, sabi niya aapas nalang daw muna si Nimue dahil may importante pang school work na ginawa, and she'll be here in less that 20 minutes.

"Pers?" I called for his attention and reminded him to fetch my visitor sa entrance. Hindi kasi registered ang sasakyan na ginamit nila Virgo dito sa camp.

Nangangalay na ang mga kamay ko habang nagbubuhat sa mga chandeliers. I helped. I insisted. Puro nalang kasi ako vacuum, at decor, parang ang basic lang, so I upgraded my chore.

There is a rectangular table up front, where the royals are going to be sitting. May tatlong medium chandeliers na isasabit sa itaas nila. Sa pader, malamang.

The theme is gold, black and white. Archer's color choice. Actually, maraming nag disagree about the black color, pero mas maraming pumili na isali ang black sa color scheme ng ball. But the clothes doesn't have to be gold, black and white. Just the venue.

There are white fake flowers and leaves with gold sprayed on the tips all over the ceiling. Nag halo ang mga puting bulaklak at dahon at tsaka ang mga fairlights sa pader ng buong gym. There are gold banner accents on the walls as well. There is also a huuge chandelier in the middle of the gym. One medium chandelier for each rectangular table at the sides of the royals' table, na naka slant, where the council will be sitting, and three medium ones on the tables of the royals.

Maingat na sinisindihan ko ang mga kandila sa chandeliers ng mga royals. I'm standing on a tall step stool, when someone shook my ankles.

"Ay!" Tinapunan ko ng nakamamatay na tingin si Archer nang tinawanan niya lamang ako, matapos mang asar. "Ano na naman ba kailangan mo?" Inirapan ko siya at itinuon muli ang atensyon sa pagsisindi ng mga kandila.

"Wala, bored lang ako." Hindi ko na siya pinansin. Ilang segundong natahimik ako, hindi ko namalayan na liningon ko na pala siya na sobrang focused na nakatitig sa'kin at nakatingala. The height of his face is on my knee, so titingala talaga siya.

"What?"

Umiling ito saglit at hindi ko na pinansin ang titig nito. Mahina akong napamura nang hindi na gumagana ang electric torch na gamit ko. I looked down and saw Archer sitting on chair beside the step stool that I'm standing on. His other hand is scrolling through his phone, while the other is firmly holding the step stool. I also noticed that he's wearing airpods.

Ayoko naman siyang disturbuhin kaya nang makita ko ang spare na electric torch sa gilid ng table na nasa harap ni Archer, pinaghirapan kong abutin iyon. But as soon as I was about to reach it, I slipped and fell... on Archer's arms.

He looked worried when I squealed but his reflexes saved me. He caught me bridal style, just before his arms and my back could touch the floor.

"Okay ka lang?" He asked in a low voice. He sounded so worried.

Mahina lamang akong tumango at lihim na napalunok nang sobrang lapit ng mukha namin. Not as close as the times before, but looking at him up close.. he's so handsome. Tall and proud nose. Beautiful brown eyes. Thick lashes and eyebrows. Naturally red and supple, thin lips. Tight jaw, that could probably cut through paper. Smooth and warm toned skin. God, he's like a.. god.

Nang ibinaba na niya ako. I consciously looked around. Buti nalang at walang paki alam ang mga tao dito. Well, except for Pierce, Isaiah (I found out Sai's real name from Pierce), and Ate Press. They're both giggling na para bang nang-aasar.

I was about to grab the electric torch and go up the step stool again when Archer stopped me.

"Ako na, baka masaktan ka na naman." Bahagya akong nagulat sa inasta niya pero tinangoan ko na lamang ito at hinawakan ang paanan ng step stool para maingat itong maka akyat. Hindi naman ako nasaktan ah.

"Charaan!" Proud na proud si Archer sa pagtapos niya sa dalawang chandeliers. "Galing ko 'no?"

I scoffed. "You literally just went and light up those candles."

"Nakakangalay kaya 'yon."

After everything at the hall. Pagod na nilapitan ko ang bag ko nang marinig na nag ring ito. It's already 8pm, nandito na siguro si V.

"Sino ba 'to?" Natawa ako sa iritang boses na tanong ni Pierce sa kabilang linya.

"That's Virgo, stupid."

"Oh tapos?"

"Kapatid ko 'yan, kaya alagaan mo nang mabuti, malalate pa'ko ng balik sa cabin." Nakita ko naman si Archer na naglalakad palapit sa'kin habang may dalang paper bag sa isang kamay at dalawang juice drink sa kabila.

"Kapatid mo 'to? Sure ka b— Oi!" Nagulat ako sa pagsigaw nito.

"Anong ginagawa mo— mag tuwalya ka nga!" Napatawa ako sa sinabi ni Pierce. Lumabas na naman siguro si Virgo ng cr habang naka undergarments lang.

Napakunot naman ang noo ni Archer and gave me a questioning look nang makalapit siya sa'kin. I'm sitting on a bench outside the gym. He sat beside me and sipped on his juice drink.

"I'll be back later, Pierce. Don't worry." I chuckled before ending the call and went through my backpack.

"Si Pers iyon?" Nakalagay ang siko nito sa sandalan ng bench at nakalagay maman ang isang paa sa kabila. Seryoso itong nakatingin sa'kin habang nakataas ang isang kamay.

I cringed and flinched his nose. "Yuck, so ano? Nagseselos ka? Sa kapatid mo? Baliw ka ba? Di naman kita boyfriend." I chuckled.

He tsked. "Hindi pa kasi hindi mo naman ako sinasagot,"

"Nagtatanong ka ba?" I raised a brow.

The side of his lip shot up and looked at me up and down once. "Bakit? Kung magtatanong ba ako, sasagutin mo ako?"

I scoffed. "Malamang." I grabbed my backpack and clung it on my shoulder. I walked the path to the headquarters of the council. I plan on eating there, sa desk ko na prinovide ni Chandler.

"Luh, talaga?" Parang na star struck na tanong ni Archer sa'kin nang maka upo ako sa upuan ko.

Tinuro ko ang pagkain na dala nito. "Akin ba yan?"

He nodded and gave me the paper bag. Gosh, I'm hungry. Akmang susubo na ako sa pagkain nang biglang bumukas ang pinto ng area ko.

I remember her. Ares? I think.

"May kailangan ka?" Tanong ni Archer kay Ares na para bang naka disturbo ito. Assuming.

She gulped and glanced at me. I also saw Slate running towards her from behind.

"s**t. Sorry, senior." Slate's a junior, so he calls Archer his senior. Hindi naman necessary, but the Montecarlo's have always been about good manners. Ewan ko lang kay Prim, hahaha.

"Yeah. Sorry sa... disturbo." Ares awkwardly said before slowly turning around and ran away with Slate.

Weird.

Umirap lamang ako at nagsimula nang kumain. Gosh, I moaned softly from the goodness of my chicken katsu. That Archer bought. So fine fine, I'll thank him.

"Thanks." I shortly said while sipping on my juice, that he also bought. He nodded slightly and looked at me.

"Talaga? Sasagutin mo ako?" Parang batang tanong nito.

"Bakit naman hindi?"

He was shocked at first, then slowly, he smiled. He looked away and poked his tongue on the insides of his cheeks, stopping himself from smiling, or chuckling? Idk.

Kumunot lamang ang noo ko. "Kilig ka naman?"

Biglang nawala ang ngiti nito at mabilis na nilingon ako. "Excuse me. Hindi ako kinikikilig!" So defensive.

I just nodded sarcastically and finished eating. I'm half way through my food when Archer spoke.

"So.." he delayed. I looked at him and softly wiped the sides of lips with the tissue. I saw how he gave a quick glance on my lips then quickly to my eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

... What. The. f**k.
