Maria's Point of View
The anxiety in my chest tripled when I realized he would finally see the twins. And the thought of my twin children also seeing him filled me with a mix of fear.
I quickly wriggled out of his grasp and pushed him away.
As I broke free from him, I confronted him while preparing to get out of the car. "Mr. Thompson, I don't understand why you're still bothering me. What do you gain from a woman who cheated on you before? And aren't I the kind of woman who sleeps with many men too? So why do you think the twin children are yours?"
He remained silent and just looked at me deeply.
My heart stung as I continued, "I'm not a clean woman. So don't expect that the children are yours. I sleep with many men, and there's zero possibility that you're their father."
