Jase’s POV When I walked into my new school on that first day, I was 12 years old. I saw the scrawny, sad looking, greasy haired girl sitting alone at the desk in my registration class, I was intrigued by her. The open seat next to her was the only one available, so I sat by her and introduced myself. She didn’t speak. I incorrectly assumed, as any child my age would, that it was because she was bullied for not fitting in. But it turns out, she wasn’t bullied. I mean the odd kid would make a comment here or there, but in general, she was left alone, which I found odd. Now I know that sounds awfully judgmental, but I had been to serval schools because of my Dads inability to remain in one place too long, and all kids like her got bullied. But not Jane.
