Manik:- shut up stop teasing me

Cabir:- well where is she since i can only see you here or have you started imagining her (laughs)

Manik (irritated):- can you stop with your lame dialogues and she received a call so she went to talk, she will be back

Before cabir could reply anything the cabin's door opens and nandini is seen entering the cabin

Manik (smiling):- nandini this is my best friend (before he he could say cabir's name cabir himself turns around facing her to introduce himself)

Cabir :- hello nandini

Nandini (surprised):- Hello cabir, but how do you know that i work here?

Now it was Manik turn to get shocked, he was not able to understand what is happening i mean how do they know each other they did not even go to same college ,

Manik ( thinking):- cabir is my friend though we were in the same college we chose different streams so we hardly used to meet each other in college, we used to mostly hangout in my home only so there is no way they were friends in college and even if they were why wouldn't cabir tell me even after knowing i have a crush on her

Whole manik was thinking all this cabir tapped on his shoulders and asked what happened

Manik:- well i am confused as to how do you both know each other?

Nandini (confused):- wait so you already know cabir

Seeing both of them confused with the same question cabir chuckled and manik gives him a "tell me what's going on" expression

Cabir (taking a deep breath):- Nandini first take a seat (she listens to him and sits in her chair) so nandini to answer your question yes i do know him infact he is my best friend and also i guess you don't know that i was in the same college as you but since i took a different stream my classes were held in a different block and i wasn't able to meet him much in college (facing manik) Manik remember i told you that i selected a painter (he nods) it is nandini and that is how i know her

Both of them were processing the information that cabir has just told them

Nandini:- so we all went to the same college and i still did not know you ( cabir nods) so is the company which hired me is it under manik's control?

Cabir:- not exactly i handle that company since i am more interested in arts but he is the owner though

Nandini:- well it is a small world i mean we did not meet in college and now i work in 2 company's which are owned by manik (cabir chuckles)

Manik :- cabir why dint you tell me before that she was the painter (facing nandini) and you nandini didn't you see the painting in my cabin which you have painted

Nandini (nodding no):- obviously not if i woukd have seen it then i would have told you that it was painted by me, anyways where is the painting in your cabin

Manik:- left corner where sunlight falls the brightest it looks even more beautiful when there is sunlight falling on it

Cabir :- sorry to interrupt you but (smirks) manik you were never interested in knowing who are the artists i hire so why did you think that i will tell about nandini

Manik is embarrassed he glares at cabir while cabir keeps smirking and nandini is just staring at them

Manik:- Okay anyways cabir why did you come here?

Cabir:- to talk with you obviously

Manik:- well then lets go to my cabin, and nandini i will call you later so we can talk

Manik was dragging cabir out of her cabin but cabir stops him

Cabir:- wait i have to tell nandini something (manik gives him a now what look) it is really important one minute (facing her) nandini i was going to call you to tell you something but since we met here i have to tell you that there is an exhibition going to be held so i want you make a beautiful painting and the deadline is 2 weeks all the best

Manik's cabin

Manik:- cabir why did you not tell me all this before?

Cabir (acting innocent):- about what?

Manik (irritated):- cabir stop acting i told you that i met her, about marriage proposal everything but you couldn't tell me that she was the painter?

Cabir (smirk):- even if i told, you still wouldn't have done anything manik

Manik:- it is not the time for jokes you know i like her since college time right

Cabir:- Manik during college time itself you told me that you wanted to concentrate on your career first and if she was actually meant to be in your life then destiny will have its own way to make you both meet so i did not tell you anything

Manik:- cabir you know i was scared to propose her i mean if i go tell her that i fell in love with her at the first sight itself you think she will be comfortable with it? I wanted to be friends with her first and then propose her but then i couldn't get time

Cabir:- Also when you told me about the marriage proposal i was going to tell you about nandini but you did jot wait for me to speak and cut the call and you can keep your excuses to yourself saying you did not get time and all

Manik:- shut up yaar cabir you know the real reason why i did not propose her right

Cabir:- that is so foolish how long will you be scared? Also as far as i know you aren't the person who is scared of anyone

Manik:- i just don't want her to be in a situation which she will not like that is it and yes i did everything i could of that situation but i feel there is someone who is passing my information to that person so until i find who is that i will not say her much and now anyways we are in the knowing each other phase so let me enjoy it
