Manik:- Mom i am leaving to office

Nyo:- why are you leaving so soon?

Raj (teasing):- because he is eager to meet nandini

Manik:- nothing like that dad bye

Other side

Nandini was so happy that manik is so understanding, after her conversation with manik she had called navya and told her everything , even navya was very happy for her and thanked matarani

Nandini's mom:- nandu beta i just want to see you happy, i know manik is a very nice guy and navya told me that you just want to know him more so maybe i overreacted but i do understand your point of view

Nandini smiled and left for office, she was excited to meet him, later she reaches office and knocks manik's cabin, though her superior is dhruv but the ultimate boss was manik so she wants to greet him first

Manik:- come in

Nandini (smiling):- good morning sir

Manik (teasing):- good morning nandini, i hope you are fine now and not nervous around me anymore

Nandini:- yes sir i am completely fine but sir i wanted to ask you something (manik tells her to ask) why were you shocked when i asked for time?

Manik (awkward):- well i will answer that when we go out for lunch

Nandini:- we are going somewhere?

Manik:- yes madam if you do not remember we have to know each other

Nandini gives an embarrassed smile and tells him okay and leaves to her cabin

Lunch break

Manik saw dhruv and nandini working together and he was thinking to himself not again and controlled his anger

He wanted to tell her that it is lunch time and they have to go out but he thought it might look like he is desperate or something and also she was busy in work

After some time he heard a knock on his door and asked that person to come in

Nandini:- sir

Manik:- yes nandini

Nandini (nervous):- it is lunch  time sir, you told we have to go somewhere so i came to ask are we going?

Manik (chuckles):- i am shocked that you are still nervous infront of me (she bites her lip in embarrassment) anyways half the lunch time is over and we were anyways going to a restaurant only so we can eat in your cabin itself

Nandini (shocked):- my cabin? Why sir?

Manik (sighed):- firstly can you call me manik please atleast when we are alone it feels like a formal talk when you address me sir

Nandini (smiles):- yes manik sure, but you still havent addressed my question

Manik:- in your cabin you will feel comfortable as not many people come inside your cabin so we can have our privacy (she was going to ask something) i know mine is the boss cabin and here also not many can come but i feel you will be comfortable in your cabin and here i will receive phone calls also which is irritating so anymore questions madam?

(She nods a no and manik smiles to himself, they both go to nandini's cabin and he calls his canteen and orders food for them )

Manik:- so are we going to start talking now? Okay so you start asking me anything you want

Nandini:- well i actually want to know that when i asked for some time why were you shocked?

Manik (embarrased):- actually i just had to process the fact that you asked time because i was used to girl wanting to be around me only all the time, so i was shocked, but then it is okay i understand why you did that

Nandini (laughs):- oh so you are only to rejecting girls ha

Manik:- yes now don't tease me, it is not my fault every girl who wanted to be around was only for my looks or money and not me so i reject them

Nandini:- oh now your turn

Manik:- Do you remember that we studied in the same college and the first day you proposed me?

Nandini:- yes manik i remember and that was a dare even you knew it

Manik (teasing):- who knows maybe you asked them to give that dare so that if my answer is a no then you can just tell me that its a dare

Nadini:- what?? Definitely not why would i do that and if i did that on purpose then we wouldn't be like this knowing each other and i would have immediately told yes to the proposal

Manik (still teasing):- maybe this knowing each other process is just an excuse to become more close to me

Nandini:- well someone accepted the proposal as soon as their dad asked them so i don't think so i need excuses if i want to get close to you

Manik (awkward):- well looks like the tables have turned and now you are teasing me so lets change the topic

Nandini laughs and just then she receives a call from her friend Navya

Nandini:- i am so sorry to stop but i will just talk to my friend who is continuously calling me and be right back

Manik smiles and tells her that it is okay, she takes her phone and leaves the cabin and goes to a place where not many people are present

On the other side cabir enters the office and directly goes to manik's cabin since everyone knows who he is so no one stops him or questions him

When he entered manik's cabin he did not find him there, though it was lunch time but manik never went anywhere then he checked other cabins and finally found him in a cabin

Cabir:- so manik whose cabin is this?

Manik (shocked):- couldn't you knock and come in i got scared for a second

Cabir:- well you still did not answer my question

Manik:- umm it is nandini's cabin

Cabir:- what?

Manik:- i told you that i met her

Cabir :- you did not tell me she works here or else i would have directly come to this cabin (teasing)
