I have to call Navya and tell her about this I'm sure she will definitely be  happy listening to this news, because she always knew about my feelings for him

Phone convo:

Nandini(smiling): hello Navya

Navya: yes Nandini tell me

Nandini(excited): I have to tell you something very important

Navya: you sound  very excited? What's the matter

Nandini(happy): if I tell you then you will also be excited and happy

Navya(sighs): come on don't create suspense now

Nandini(laughing) okay listen so you know about my mom right she doesn't want me to become a painter

Navya: yes I know

Nandini: so since she wants me to do a proper job according to her I went and attended an interview today. Guess whom I met there

Navya(thinking): whom?

Nandini(blushing): Manik

Navya(surprised): you mean you met Manik Malhotra?

Nandini (nodding): yes I met him

Navya(happy): oh my God you met your crush after so many years. I'm so happy for you. Now tell me everything what happened there don't skip any detail okay because I know how you used to feel about him and I guess you still have those feelings for him

Throughout the conversation Nandini keeps smiling and tells Navya about her meeting with her crush.

Nandini (looking at her phone): Navya I'm getting a second call so I'll call you later

Navya: okay bye

Nandini: bye

She picks the second call and it was from an unknown number

Nandini: Hello

Person: hello is this Nandini

Nandini(thinking who is this): yes it me but may I know who is this?

Person: My name is Cabir I was the  one who called you to tell you got selected in the painting exhibition I hope you recognize me atleast now

Nandini(recognizing him): oh yes! I remember actually that time you called me from a  different number and I saved that so I couldn't recognize you I'm sorry

Cabir(smiling): it's okay not a problem, actually that's our company number and this is my personal number. Since you told me yesterday that you won't be able to meet I wanted to ask if you are free today so that we can discuss about the contract

Nandini(happy): yes! Sure, no problem I'm sorry for postponing it

Cabir: that's okay I will message you the address, meet me there at sharp 4pm

Nandini (smiling): sure

He cuts the call and now Nandini is on cloud nine. She feels that things are in her favor first getting selected in the exhibition then meeting her crush and now discussing contract details. She did not understand how to celebrate or express this happiness she was just smiling all the time 

At 4pm

Nandini has reached the place which Cabir texted her but she hasn't seen him so she can't recognize him. Just then she receives a call from Cabir

Nandini: hello sir where r u?

Cabir: look at your left side

She sees him and smiles at him

Nandini: hello sir

Cabir(laughing): Do I look that old? Don't call me sir, I have a name so call me Cabir it makes me feel young also

Nandini(murmuring): feel young? Which means you are actually old?

Cabir(smirks): Though you spoke at a very low volume I could still hear it

Nandini(panics) sorry sir

Cabir(sighs): again sir?

Nandini(realising): I mean ca...Cabir

Cabir(smiles): okay let's talk about the purpose for which we are here. As you know our company NM industries has selected you

Nandini(nodding): yes sir (Cabir glares) I mean cabir. I feel very happy and honoured to be selected among so many people

Cabir: it's all because of your talent. Anyways can you tell how much package are you expecting?

Nandini: I'm not expecting anything Cabir

Cabir: how is that possible? When you got to know that you are selected by such a reputed company you would've some expectation about the salary

Nandini (smiling): Actually I'm very happy that I got selected but I'm even more happy because I can atleast do the job I like

Cabir (confused): what do you mean?

Nandini (takes a deep breath): Actually before discussing about the package I want to tell you something

Cabir: go ahead

Nandini (nervous): Actually my mom does not want me to be a painter. She feels that it's not a secured job, I might get money for my painting today, but it's definite that I'll get the same amount or more Tom. So she wants me to a secure job like others because of that only I couldn't meet you yesterday. I can do this as a part time job only I mean I will paint in my home itself or if you want me to do the work in your company then I can come only in the evening and weekends.

Cabir(understanding): okay I understand your problem and your mom is also not wrong. Painting is purely based on the skills of artist so as long as you give us an amazing painting on time we are fine of you work part time or paint in your home

Nandini(not believing): you sure?

Cabir(smiling): yes an artist can never be forced or else the output will not be good so there won't be much pressure from our side but we just want the paintings on time

Nandini(happy): definitely there will be no delay in that

Cabir: now let's talk about the package

Nandini: I think you can decide the salary after seeing my paintings

Cabir: you mean after each painting you give us based on that we can pay you

Nandini: yes

Cabir: okay then you have to come to the company for some formalities

Nandini: sure

They shake hands and leave from there.As soon as  Nandini reaches home she starts dancing and her mom sees this

Mom: why are you dancing?

Nandini tells her everything and hugs her with a huge smile on her face
