“I’m coming in…hands up.” Sam says covering her eyes
*Opens door* peeks through her fingers.
“Oh, thank god. This would’ve been awkward if you were doing anything else other than…” she trails off “So yeah get dressed we’re going out. My own gift to you, birthday boy”
“Really would it have been that awkward?” Ryan asked with a smirk
She backed up to leave but pauses. “…Get dressed.” Closing the door. She smiles.
Sam goes to find Amy and Remy.
“We’re about to leave soon as he comes out. Be ready by the time we come back. I’m going to go wait outside.”
“Hey, ready!” Ryan comes out walking past Sam
“FINALLY,” Sam exclaims.
They both get into Remy’s car and drive out into town.
“Where are we going, anyway?”
“Drive off a cliff.” With a wide smile on her face.
“Should have told me. I would have worn my other shirt.”
“You’re fine. Smell good too.” Giving him a quick glance. “I on the other hand, not so much. So that’s our first stop.”
“You brought me out shopping?” he asked with a grim expression
“What? I need new dress.” She replies mockingly “Stop pouting. It will be quick, and I need to have a guy’s opinion on which dress looks better.” She says in a softer tone.
“No dress.” he smirks
“Ha, we’re here. Come on.”
She tries on a few dresses and he chooses the best one. A sleek little black dress with a pair of shoes that compliments the dress and makes her legs look longer. They leave the shop on their way to their next destination.
“Two more stops, Ryan. Just for you. I promise you’ll like it.”
“What’d you buy the dress for if you’re not going to wear it?” he questions
“Well s**t, Ryan.” She laughs. “Relax its not proper attire for where we’re going. I’ll change after, okay?”
“Which is where now?” Ryan asks impatiently “You should put that dress back on.” he winks
“I'll make YOU put on that dress if you don’t cut it out.”
“I’ll look better, I bet.” He jokes
“Get out and follow me.”
They walk into a guitar shop. His face lit up like a child in a candy shop.
“Ryan, my dear. Go on have at it. See which feels right.” She says as sweet as possible.
He chooses a perfect sleek black electric guitar. “You get a little black dress. I get a little black guitar. Thanks, Sam!”
“Yeah, yeah not such a bad day huh?” she smiles
“I bet the guy in the front you’d pick a black electric guitar. Ha, I was right. Know you so well. Come we’ve got to go.” She chimes proud of herself.
The next and final stop they make is at a laser tag place. They both spend a few hours having some fun competitively trying to make the other lose. They played in a small group and had gotten everyone out until it was just the two of them left.
“Where are you? You’re going down Ryan!” Sam sing songs
Ryan is silent until he catches her off guard and pushes her up against a wall. Just inches away, he stares into Sam’s eyes for what seems like forever contemplating if a kiss is the right move.
Sam uses this to her advantage and with her free hand caresses his neck upwards and grabs him closer, they’re at the most intimate it has ever been. She brings her mouth close to his left ear and pauses.
“Pew, pew.” She whispers having already aimed her laser on him, but he shot first and she lost.
“You’re a cheat.” She pouts
“and you’re a tease.” He responds with a smirk.
Without moving and lasers still aimed at each other, he kisses her. For a moment they parted and in an almost whisper Sam says, “We need to get back. They’ll get jealous…”
“Shut up Sam.” Ryan interrupts and kisses her again.
They both leave and return to the car. “You’re driving!” tossing Ryan the keys.
“It’s not driving miss daisy, Samantha.” As he sees her climb into the back seat instead of the passenger seat.
“Hush and drive. And keep your eyes forward.” She begins to undress and put on the dress she bought earlier.
“Nice tattoo. Is that a lily?” Looking at the right side of her lower back through the rear-view mirror.
“Ryan!” she shrieks trying to hold back a laugh “Sheesh.”
“Say my name” he laughs causing her to blush the same shade as her hair.
