Summer’s POV
When am I going to learn not to drink so much? I fought through my hangover and took a shower while Lykeon went down to meet our guests who arrived. He told me they were hackers to help Elliot, so I am hoping they find where my family is. He took them to the basement where Elliot’s lab was. I met Lykeon in the kitchen after a strange guy left the kitchen and went back down to the basement.
“Who was that?” I asked him, wrapping my arms around his waist.
“I’m hoping for our salvation,” he told me, leaning down and kissing the top of my head.
“Our salvation? Will they find my family, and help destroy The Hunters?” I asked him, looking up at him.
“That is why I hired them,” Lykeon told me. “Elliot can’t get through, and Brooklyn and Frog are the best in the business.”
