Lykeon’s POV
Once I knew Summer and the baby were safe, I sent out scouts to see if they could find The Hunters. They disappeared as fast as they arrived. The Hunters killed three more men and injured several others. Luckily, Summer was smart and had one of her guards to go in the cave with her to link the other guards, and then using her magic to find a way out of the cave, so they couldn’t find her.
On the way back to the pack house, Summer stomped down the trail, not talking to me. She is upset with me because I ordered her not to come back here because now it is not safe for her. I practically had to run to keep up with her, but she kept on using her magic on me, throwing me back.
“Will you stop that!” I growled at her after the third time. She kept on walking away, ignoring me. I g
