Lykeon’s POV
Once the men settled, they came to the dining room to enjoy a hot breakfast, especially after being on the road for thirteen or more hours. They filled the next hour with stories of Summer and Selina’s childhood and much laughter. We also listen to the stories of the war in Afghanistan, and the comrades they have lost. Selina’s cousins seem like they are good men and looked like I could trust them.
After breakfast, all the men went to get some rest, except for Ernie, who took the first watch over Summer. The three men insisted on watching over her, making sure she was safe. I quickly inducted them into the pack, so Ernie and Harry could link me if something would happen to Summer. Jonathan has the power to make Summer invisible if she is in danger and could teleport her back
