Lucian’s POV The perfume still lingered in the air. Sweet, expensive and quite desperate. A scent I had come to cherish dearly. Control was a drug, but exercising that control over others was even more intoxicating. She sat curled on the edge of the couch, one of my shirts barely draped over her, clutching it like it meant something. Her gaze flicked to mine as if hoping for... anything. I didn’t offer a glance.
