'not human?'

after a few days, probably weeks after the meeting, I hear kanae calling me down in a rushed voice. i come swiftly from my room and down the stairs.

"can u take care of Akihiko?, i have a meeting with the master, pretty please..?" kanae asked as she pointed to the Akihiko who had many major injuries, somehow alive.

"why him?" i ask trying to seem like I'd rather take a creepy old man than him.

"please..! I'll owe u one, alright?!" she rushed off to the meeting before i could even answer. i turn to Akihiko and say turning around.

"tch, come with me"

he follows and i ask him to lay down on one of the beds. I went to get some medicine and bandages.

"stay still" i say applying the medicine on his injuries

he slightly flinches but i ignore it and continue applying the medicine. i finish applying medicine and call over another staff to show him to his guest room for him to recover

"recover fast" i say turning away going back to my room upstairs as he gets led back to the guest room downstairs.

kanae comes back after a while, i sit leaning against my bed frame reading a book as kanae walks in. i turn my head and smile at her.

"i heard from aoi that Akihiko is resting in the guest room?"

i nod and turn back to my book. she chuckles taking the book out of my hand and running downstairs, I get out of bed and chase her with a smile on my face. we go around the house, her running around with my book and me chasing her half laughing and half telling her to give it back..

as night falls i train in the backyard, Martha's power starts acting up and I sit down on the ground for a minute to maybe try and control them, just then Akihiko walks out and sees me sitting on the ground distracted or more fascinated by the new found ability I have, Martha's ability..

he walks up to me and sits next to me, i turn to him, my eyes slightly widen, i didn't sense him coming out, or even staring at me, as I was about to say something, Martha's spirit comes out of my hand, i shreak back to the fence.

"y-you"

she speaks i turn to Akihiko who did not seem very amused at Martha being here. i spread my palm grabbing Martha back(?), then ask

"what are u?, ur not human, I can't sense ur energy"...
