I attacked it!” Rhys shouts, panic rising in his chest. “Normally that spell destroys things!” “Darkness based,” Kyrie tells Rhys tersely. “It’s fuel for them.” Meanwhile, Elowen is creating a wall of crystalline ice between the fae and the dark creatures, and Seamus is charging a beam of light. Saoirse pulls out her ocarina, flies above the wall, and starts playing the confusion spell she’d used on the first creature of darkness she encountered. However, it doesn’t affect these creatures as strongly as it had the rabbit-like being; their movements lose some intensity, but the creatures still snarl and snap at the fae, with Elowen’s wall of ice being the main thing that prevents them from outright attacking. “What am I supposed to do, then?” Rhys ask
