One evening, as Anderson stood on the deck of the ship,in his work gazing at the horizon, he received a call that would forever change his perspective. It was his mother, her voice trembling with emotion. "Anderson, your father... he passed away peacefully this afternoon." The news hit him like a tidal wave, overwhelming and relentless. Anderson's heart ached with grief, and tears streamed down his face. He felt the weight of his father's absence, a void that could never be filled. Yet, amidst the sorrow, he found strength in the lessons his father had imparted. Returning home for the funeral, Anderson was met with a flood of memories. The house that had once echoed with laughter and love now felt empty. His father's presence lingered in every corner, a silent reminder of the man who had shaped his life. In the days that followed, Anderson and his mother leaned on each other for support. They found solace in sharing stories of his father, celebrating the life he had lived and the legacy he had left behind. His mother's health also began to decline, and Anderson made a promise to himself: he would make them proud, no matter the cost. That day he received sacrifice, and unwavering support. He imagined his self standing on a boat on his working coat, holding his diploma, and a marine degree.Anderson felt a rush of emotions. He knew that his achievements were not his alone—they belonged to his parents, whose love and belief had carried him through the darkest times and there was much more to get there. As he looked out into the audience, he saw his mother, frail but beaming with pride. Her eyes met his, and in that moment, Anderson knew that his father's spirit was watching over them.
