Watching my sweet mate sleep has to be the best moment of my life. Me being 24 and have not found my mate yet. I thought I was never going to find her. She is beautiful I never imagined that she would be so perfect. Her blonde hair cascading all over my pillow and the way her sexy lips pucker when she sleeps. My wolf is howling with so much love for her already and we have not even mated yet. Chris my wolf is so happy. yes I said Chris he has the same name as her nickname. It's like the goddess knew that she was the one for me. As I'm sitting her watching her sleep I can't wait till the time comes to make her mine.

Me and my wolf are so scared for our mate and her changing soon. She is going to be in so much pain and I don't know how I can take her pain away.

As I am thinking about how much pain she's going to be in I hear her whimper. As I look down she has a pain look on her face. I grab her arm as carefully as I can and pull back the bandage and the change is starting it's spread up her arm now and with in the next 48 hours my mate will be one of us. I just hope it doesn't kill her. People who are changed by force and not willing to change usually don't live through the change.

Please moon goddess please watch over my sweet mate and keep her safe. I just found her I don't want to loose her.

As I was sending out a silent prayer. She is starting to move around I can tell this is going to be hard on her. She let out a load scream and her head falls back as sweat covers her head.

"Derrick bring me a bucked of ice water and towels to my room now your Luna needs it." I mind linked my beta.

I am so scared I hope she can handle the pain. As I rub small circles on her arm to try and sooth the pain with the mating bond. I just hope it takes away some of her pain.

She lets out another ear piercing scream and I decided i couldn't wait on Derrick any more I scoop my mate up in my arms and it feels like her skin is on fire. As I race to the bathroom I kick the door open and head towards the tub and turn cold water on as I lower our body's in the tub. I grab a towel and start running it through her sweat soaked hair.

She is withering in pain in my arm, she lets out a growl this time. I can tell her wolf is coming forward and I can feel her breathing pick up.

But what I don't understand is that her wolf should not be at the surface yet it's only been a hour since her pain has started. Usually it takes 24 hours before she should show her self.

All I could do was hold her tighter and whisper how amazing she is doing and that it will be over soon. After this has continued for some time it's like the pain had quite all of a sudden and she was sleeping peacefully now.

I stood front the tub with my sweet mate still in my arms and holding her close as I can to my body I made my way to the bed. I took her shirt off and slid her pants down her legs before I placed her in the bed and covered her body.

Running to my closet I tore out of my close and found some night pants to throw on so I could get back to my sweet.

entering back into my room she was still sleeping on the bed. She didn't look like she was in pain at all and this is what confused me the most. She should be in so much pain and it's confusing me and my wolf.

"Victor how is she?" Derrick came rushing through the door to see me standing there looking at her.

"What the hell took you so long she would have died waiting on you".

I screamed at him.

"I'm so sorry man there was a attack on the south line three vamps I didn't want to bother you so I took care of the problem and ran back as soon as I was done."

"Well s**t how did they get on my territory and and did you kill them all?" I growled

"We really didn't have a choice they attacked us and by the time we could of captured the last one he tried killing one of the warriors and we didn't have time to think so we acted and killed the damn thing. He left us no option to take him in, I'm sorry boss."

"s**t forget about it for now I'm going to lay with my mate and help her through the change your in charge till it's over. I'm counting on you!"

" I won't let you down again boss you can count on me."

After he finally left me and my mate alone I crawled up next to her in bed and pulled her to my chest and held her. I was so relaxed in this moment with my sweet mate next to me that I fell asleep in this moment.

Christina Pov

All I felt was like my skin was on fire. There was so much pain it felt like my insides was set ablaze. All I knew to do was let it out so I screamed as load as I could to ease some of the pain. That's when I felt my body being picked and put in cold water and it dimmed the pain some. As I was trying to get through the pain the best I could I heard a voice. "Chris you will be fine I'm going to take over from here so you will not be in any more pain till it's time to change in wolf form."

"What the hell who are you I thought."

"I am your wolf and your other half my name is Maddie and I will be with you the rest of your life. But like I said I'm going to take your pain and make it mine till the change. I need you to sleep until the time comes so bare with me. I will get is through this."

I don't know what was happening but I felt like I could trust this voice or my wolf as she said with my life so I did what she said. I felt my body relax instantly and I let out a growl. What the hell was that was all I could think. After dozing in and out of sleep I felt my body being picked up and carried again and I felt the sparks on my skin and I knew it was Victor. My shirt was being pulled over my head and I felt my pants being slid off my legs. Then I was being picked up and get to be laid on something so soft. It must be that wonderful bed I remembered laying on earlier. Dozing back off they I felt sparks all over my front side it felt so amazing that it relaxed every muscle in my body. In that moment i could have died and never known because I felt like I was in heaven. before anything else I felt my body giving over to the deepest sleep I have ever enjoyed in my life.
