I felt like we have been driving for hours. After we got some gas I let him take the wheel I was tired. Being up half the night taking care of my so called mate as he says, And also sleeping on the couch I'm so tired. We didn't make if far down the road before I passed out.

I looked around in the room I was in and realized I was in a bed with a man's arm around me I turned around and it was Victor. He opened his eyes and moved to touch my lips with his. His mouth felt so good on mine. He licked my bottom lip for entrance and I gladly gave it to him. His tongue moving in my mouth exploring every bit he could. I moaned in his mouth with approval and he took my tongue in his mouth sucking on it until another moan was set free. If this is how kissing felt I would never go back to no doing it.

I felt my body slam forward and I woke up out of the best dream of my life. I looked over and was staring at Victor and he had a huge smile on his face. "What are you smiling about"? I asked him and he smiled more. "Did you have a good nap? Because I heard some noises come from you while you was sleeping and you smelt so good". He stated. What the hell is the only thing I thought in my dream it was go good. Well s**t it's time to play dumb. "I don't know what your talking about. So where are we?" I asked changing the topic. "Pack Lands" was his only response. my head snapped forward and the sight before me took my breath away.

There was rows and rows of log houses and everyone looked different from the other. They all had there own unique look about them and it was a sight to see. But what really caught my eye was the huge house at the back it was a massive log house and I do mean massive. It looked like it could house hundreds of people alone. I don't think it registered to me at the moment that my mouth was agape and looked in shock. What brought me out of my trance was the most beautiful laugh I had ever had the pleasure of hearing. "You like it?" He asked. "Omg it's amazing and this is all yours"? Is all I could ask. "Well yeah it's all mine but soon my Luna will share it with me and it will be ours". I just stared at him. What the hell was a Luna? is that a fish why would he want to share all this with a fish? Who know I guess just because he is hot as sin doesn't make him all that smart.

"Come on Chris we need to get you in side and in a bed. Your pain is going to start soon because of the shift and we need to be able to control your pain until then". I just shook my head. What he had just said made me so sick to my stomach and I was not ready for so much pain. Every bad thought was coming to mind. What if I died was all I was thinking that scared me the most. It was like he new I was freaking out and the grabbed my hand and gave it a tight squeeze and rubbed small circles around my knuckles with his thumb. It shot sparks all the way up my arm and down to my cord and it calmed me right there. He gave me a light tug to follow him so while he still held my hand he lead the way. We walked up to the huge house and it looked even better up close the wrap around porch took my breath away with the porch swing. We reached the door and before he could open it the door swung open and stood a man that looked so worried.

"Holy s**t your back and safe. Man you are not aloud to run around that long with out linking me. I had no idea what to tell everyone while you where gone I just told them you where in a meeting". He yelled.

"Derrick calm down your good I'm fine I'm back and I'm not going to be leaving for a few days calm down. And before anything else this here is Christina she is my mate. Chris this is my beta Derrick and my best friend." He looked between me and Victor and started smiling. " Yes man you finally found her that's awesome." and before I new it he had his arms around me spinning me in a circle and laughing. I heard a growl and that's when Derrick froze and dropped me. I looked towards Victor and he had a pissed off look on his face. "Derrick you may be my best friend and beta but don't pick my mate up" he growled.

"Sorry man I'm just so happy to have our queen Luna with us finally". I just stared at them both. Did this guy really just call me a fish tha fuu... "What the hell is this so call Luna fish you two keep talking about?. As they both look at be they busy up laughing. They laughed so hard they had tears running down there face. "FISH" Derrick said in-between laughs finally when they controlled them selfs they looked at me smiling. "A Luna is not a fish it's a person and is my mate who will be queen and leader of the pack with me". Victor stated and I think shock just struck. Does that mean me he said I was his mate so is that me? The Luna thing they keep talking about. WELL s**t! I didn't say anything I just stared at both of them till Victor finally grabbed my hand again leading me into the house. I couldn't even look at my surroundings because he was pulling me so fast down a hall and up some stairs and into a room with double doors. Inside the room was huge on the left was a huge walk in closet with clothes on one side of it and inn the center of the room was the biggest bed I have ever saw. and in the back corner looked like a bathroom through the opening at the back. and in front of the bed on the other side of it was a huge fire place with a bear rug infront of it. It was so beautiful I could only imagine staying in this room the rest of my life.

"This is my room and this is where you will be staying as well. Let's get you and bed and comfortable and I'll bring you some food".

"What do you mean this will be our room like me and you both in the same bed?" as I asked him this he chuckled.

"Yes this is our room you are my mate and I share everything with you and to get you through the shift your wolf is going to need all the help she can get because my smell will calm her. Because you are my mate and I am your".

"Well if it will help me live through this I'm not going to complain". I made my way to the bed kicked my shoes off and crawled in and got comfortable. As I was making my self at home he disappeared and I payed my head down on the pillow. Damn this bed is nice if I live through this I need to get me one of these. I lay there for awhile enjoying the peace and quiets when he walked back in and I could smell bacon. Looking up he was walking over to me with a tray and he placed it in front of me. "This smells amazing thank you". I said with a blush because this is the first time someone has brought me breakfast in bed and it was the sweetest thing. As I sat there and ate I felt my eye lids get heavy and just now realized how tired I am.

"My sweet mate you need to get as much sleep as you can because the next two days you will be in a lot of pain but I will be right here the whole time with you." As he finish talking I rested my head on the pillow again and started to doze off and that's when I felt a hand run fingers through my hair. "I have the most beautiful mate." I barely heard it but it made my heart skip a beat and then sleep consumed me.
