Two Worlds Apart COMPLETE

Chapter 3: The pack’s plan

The next morning, I woke up to knock on the door at 7:00. I get up trying not to wake Blake, he only sleeps in on Saturday’s so I don’t want to disturb him. I go downstairs and open the door to find Martin the Bata of my pack. He has black hair and green eyes.  He has a black shirt on with jeans and sneakers.

( M is for Martin, L is for Lilly)

L: “Good morning Martin, it’s a surprise to see you.”

M: “Good morning, Lilly I’m sorry to drop by unannounced, may I come in?”

L: “Yes, come in but please be quite Blake is still sleeping.”

I took Martin to the kitchen to make us some coffee, I put the red kettle on the gas stove and we sat down at the breakfast nook.

L: “Why are you here Martin is everything okay with the pack?”

M: “Yes, everything is fine, but Alpha Ruan would like to see you and Blake.”

L: “Me and Blake?”

M: “Yes, it’s very important he wants to see you now.”

L: “Okay, I’ll wake Blake up.”

I left and went upstairs to wake Blake, I felt uneasy about the alpha wanting to talk to us both. Especially after last night’s mishap. I woke Blake and we got dressed, Blake put on a red shirt with a blue jean. I had on a purple long sleeve shirt and a jean; we went downstairs and quickly had out coffee. Martin was waiting for us, we got in his Nissan Rouge. We drove to the packhouse in silence.  The house was big about 3 stories with a lot of windows. It had 12 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and a big kitchen. Blake held my hand the whole way. When we got there, we got out and found the alpha waiting for us in his study, with a couple of other pack members, who greeted us as we walked in. He had a big ash wood desk in the center of the room, and a lot of paintings on the walls of cabins.  He told Martin to stay and everyone else to leave. He turned around his eyes black with anger. Martin closed the door, and I knew there was trouble but, I wasn’t prepared for what happened next….

(R for Alpha Ruan, L for Lilly)

R: “I know what happened last night, I know you transformed in front of Blake and the staff at the restaurant!”

L: “Alpha I’m sorry, they promised not to say anything to keep our secret.”

R: “I don’t care what they say, or promised. The pack has strict rules and you broke the most important rule of them all!  You’re the reason we had to kill all those people working in the restaurant.”

 He looked at Martin and he grabbed my arms and held me tight. Blake looked at me worried and tried to get Martin to let me go. The alpha walked to Blake and snapped his neck. His lifeless body fell before my feet and I cried. Martin let me go and I fell to my knees, I held his body in my arms. The alpha looked at me and said, “You are banished from this pack. You will never set foot on this territory ever again.” I was angry but I couldn’t do anything or he would kill me as well.  He demanded I leave the packhouse immediately. I stood in front of the packhouse stairs, alone, broken and nowhere to go. I couldn’t go home because I couldn’t be at the place where me and Blake spent all our time together. I had no pack and no home. I stayed there for about 5 minutes just staring into the distance. I walked away from the pack house and in the direction of the town. The town wasn't very big, and didn't have a lot of people. As i walked through town I knew everyone was staring, because I had been crying.  I walked to the grocery store in the center of the town, to buy some things before leaving the territory.  The store was big and had a lot of shelves, luckily I used to come here a lot so it was easy to find my way around. I went to buy canned food because I didn't know where I was going and it's just easier to have food that's ready to eat. I got canned spaghetti, sardines, kidney beans, pumpkin and chicken. I also got a can opener and some matches. I put these items into my basket and went to pay for it. I got to the till and a very nice red headed lady with green eyes rang up my items. I could feel  her staring at me. I took my bag and left. I went to the Outdoor Warehouse to get a sleeping bag and a bag to put my stuff in. I arrived in front of the shop and stood there for a while thinking of Blake and how I wish he were still here, how he was my better half and without him I'm lost. I forced him out of my head, or i would break down, and I couldn't do that now I needed to get off pack territory fist or they would come and hunt me down. 

I went inside and looked around to see if i could find someone who worked there and who could help me find there camping aquipment. I came across a young man I'd say about 19 years old, with blond hair and brown eyes. I asked him where to find their sleeping bags and backpacks. He showed me where to find everything I needed. I got a pink sleeping bag and a red backpack. I made my way to the tills to pay. I waited for a few minutes for a till to open up. a Man with black hair and blue eyes rang up my stuff, I paid and left. I walked to the outskirts of town where the edge of the territory is.
