The Siren's Flute

Bewitching Sound

"I'll tour you around." he said. However, before he could even take a single step, I uttered an important question.

"By the way, what's your name?" I asked because we've been talking for quite a while now but I still haven't asked for his name.

"Oh... right." he commented before extending his right hand for a handshake. "My name's Damien."

I took his hand and answered, "Damien. I am Lucy."

"Nice to meet you, Lucy." he stated and then smiled. "Now that the introduction's done, let's go." ge said in which I nodded.

We were walking around the what seems like a corridor with its walls decorated with various minerals and such, when, another godlike triton approached us.

"My lord, the Mother Queen has asked for your presence." said by the man.

"Oh, alright. I'll be there." Damien turned to my direction after dismissing the triton. "I'm sorry. We might have to cancel the tour for now. However, I'll try to be back as soon as I can. Just way here and don't wander around too much. Alright?"

I nodded in response and said, "Alright." He smiled at me one last time before officially living.

Thank God. No matter how handsome he is, it's still a little bit uncomfortable for me to be around him. But I'm not saying I dislike him.

Even though, Damien has ordered me to just stay put... I just can't. And so, I wandered around. But I did not wander too much because I don't want to get lost and be taken by another siren or triton in the process because of trespassing.

I walked around the corridor. So far nothing significant has caught my eyes yet. Just a little tritons passing here and there. One thing that I have noticed is that most of them have similar scale color. They were all different shades of green. Now I quite understand their stares awhile ago. After all, I'm the only siren here who has a rose gold scale color. Maybe I'm really not from this kingdom or to be exact my biological mother is not from this kingdom.

Oh no. If that's the case, I'm basically in the turf of my mother's family enemies. Just... great! Ugh... just what the heck?! I mean, I wouldn't be shocked at this point if someone will just drag me out and kill me.

"Haaa. I didn't even had the chance to hook up with some guy or get my revenge on Rita for doing this to me." I said mumbling to myself while shaking my head sideways. I'm pretty much sure that I look like some crazy siren right now. Though, I don't really know their description of being crazy but, I guess it's just the same with humans.

In the middle of petting myself, a melody was heard inside the whole place. It was resonating. It was the most alluring music that I've heard in my entire seventeen years of existence.

The melody was very hypnotizing I can't even control my own body from moving by it's own accord. All I know is that I wanted to get near to the source of the music. I wanted to hear it up close. I wanted to see the one singing the beautiful song.

My body was walking towards the source until it stopped infront of a room. In there I saw the most mystical woman I have ever seen in my life. With golden eyes that shines so brightly and the beautiful green scales that hugged her entire body...

The sound stopped. Our eyes met...

I was busy drowning in her magical eyes when I had a glimpse of the thing that she was holding in her right hand.
