Chapter 19“What will you do now?”
She turned with surprise, finding Shizuka standing behind her by the school gates, and she stopped, feeling hesitant, guilty even. She opened her mouth, tried to find some excuse for why she had done what she had done, why the moment she had been presented with the possibility of doing something destructive, she had opted to do it as if there was no other choice; she was sixteen, and she wanted something in her life to change.
