Pandora’s POV.
Laying between Atlas and Ajax as they slept, I smiled to myself. I closed my eyes with a deep sigh leaving my lips as both of them tightened their arms around me. I drifted to sleep.
I was back in the darkness. I hear the sound of voices and open the door and follow the sound around the dark corner and stop in my tracks. Guards, gigantic creatures with leather like wings, folded against their back. They look hideous. Gargoyles.
With big fangs that hang over their lips. Their eyes are small and black. They are grey in colour with long black claws as they each hold a spear.
“We should be releasing them. Not standing around waiting for the right moment. The heir is in trouble. I don’t see why they are waiting to give the order.” One said and the other grunts.
