"She's stable," the doctor said quietly, watching Isaac's expression carefully. "There was a subchorionic hemorrhage. It's a clot that forms between the uterine wall and the placenta, and when it bursts, it causes heavy bleeding. It's not uncommon in the first trimester." Isaac stood still, jaw locked so tightly the muscles near his temple twitched, he didnt move from where he stood. "She fainted from the sudden drop in blood pressure and the shock. The blood made it look worse than it is. We've cleaned everything, checked the fetus, everything’s fine.” The doctor flipped his chart slowly, as if waiting for permission to continue. Isaac still hadn't said anything. "She's going to be alright. The baby is fine too but she needs full rest for the next few weeks, no stress, no overexertion
