Ball to Plan

 Getting off the couch, and running over to my daddy crying hugging him tightly. "Thank you so much for everything daddy. Momma would be so proud of both of us, and especially you for raising me own your own. I love you daddy and I will always be here for you, and no mate is going to change that." I say whole heartedly and Gideon growls. "Oh, hush you he's my daddy and he's been the only one I've had for so long I'm not going to just abandon him. Just because you show up and you're my mate doesn't mean you get to take me away from MY DADDY! Do you understand?" 

"Yes, baby I understand I would never want to come between you and your Dad. As you have said he raised you on his own and I admire him for that. On top of the fact he's been a just ruler for your people, and never let his grief cloud his judgment. That is something remarkable in its own way. He is the original reason I came to make an Alliance in the first place. I thought it would be prudent to have a smart man like him to counsel me should the need arise." De says smiling. 

"It's okay Princess, I did the same thing with your grandfather when I met your momma. It's just our nature to be possessive of our mates. You know how you felt when his sister just jumped into his arms, hell we all felt how you felt. That's jealousy, fear, and anger because you thought someone was taking him from you, and by his actions his wolf was feeling the same way when you said that." Daddy says softly as he strokes my hair. 

" I'm sorry De can I talk to Derrick a moment. " I say sweetly and his eyes change to a lavender." Derrick baby?"

" Yes my sweet Queen Lettie. " Derrick coos at me

" I'm sorry if I made you feel like I didn't want to stay with you. I do want to stay with both of you, but I'm not leaving my daddy by himself if he needs me I will come running with or without you two. I know it sounds like an ultimatum, but it's not it's just fair warning my daddy is the only blood that I have left if he needs me I'll be there for him." I say wrapping my arms around him. 

"I know my sweet and I'm sorry I got upset you are our world and I don't want you to ever think that we wouldn't help if David were to ever call. We will stand with you and do what needs to be done. We love you Tesoro." Derrick says inhaling my scent and kissing my cheek giving control back to De. " Tesoro Derrick is right we will always be there for you and David." 

"Thank you baby. Now for this ball we can have one here inviting everyone we know that way we can celebrate our union with everyone we know, and then we can have one at his palace in Cyprus for everyone there. Would your parents be willing to come to our ball here? Well I mean if they have the time and if they want to come that is." I say fidgeting with my fingers 

"I'm sure they would love to come here my parents haven't seen David in years and they'll be happy to know that I have found you my Queen. I'm also sure my twin sisters and younger brother would love to come and meet you as well." De coos in my ear holding me with his chest against my back, and his arms around my waist. 

"Another question that I have is how are we supposed to do this whole ruling thing? I mean if I'm supposed to rule after daddy and De you rule European packs how is this supposed to happen now that Gideon and I are mates and I'm an only child?" I question now thoroughly confused. 

"Tesoro we have a few options for that. Option one we can rule here seeing as you are more familiar with these packs David will be here to help immediately if we have any problems or questions, and Sarah and Cyrus or my younger brother Dale and his mate Trisha can rule Europe. Option two we can rule European packs and Sarah and Cyrus or whomever you and David choose can rule here, and we will help them whenever necessary. Option 3 we can alternate ruling both and we can pick someone to run whichever packs we're not residing with and just switch back and forth. " Gideon says with confidence. 

"That's brilliant boy!" Daddy says giving Gideon one of those weird man hug things that I still don't understand. 

"Awe they're getting along!" Serenity says prancing around in my mind 

"I know right! I thought Daddy/Sébastien would kill Gideon/Derrick. Especially since he's never let me have a boyfriend let alone go on a date." I giddily reply

"Lettie baby you've never been on a date?" De says through our mind-link.

"Crap I forgot he could read our mind and hear our conversations." I say frustrated 

"I didn't." Serenity scoffed 

"No baby, I haven't, but can you not read my mind all the time. It's really embarrassing and I know you are already taking it in stride with me. I know I'm inexperienced and I don't want to put more pressure on you than I already do." I reply

"Lettie baby you have no reason to be embarrassed. Derrick and I are so happy to be your first, and last in every way. " De coos at me, and I hug him. 

"So my birthday BBQ starts at 1900 and we party afterwards. We can do the Mating Ball next Friday invite our higher ups and if we can get your parents here baby. As for deciding where to rule I'll think on it and we all can discuss it more in depth later. If all that's okay with you Daddy." I say logically as best my brain is trying to sort this out. 

"That would be brilliant Princess. See you'll make a wonderful Queen not taking any decisions to lightly." Dad says proudly puffing his chest.  "As for the meeting, my daughter has the file, and her with her team will be taking the lead on the recovery you and your team will be her secondary team. Seeing as how you two are mates an Alliance is part of that anyway so it's not an issue. Unless you truly hurt her, and I don't mean her overreacting to things like this, make no mistake you will not escape my wrath." he adds with finality and sits back in his chair. 

" Dad, wait you said that I have the file? You mean the two guys who took mom from us?" I start to feel tears well up in my eyes and De wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me to his chest. 

"They are the rogue "alphas", King Gideon is here to help you and your team get them, and bring them to the black hole." Dad says looking pained as he realizes that he failed to mention sending back up with me and my men.

I growl, "EXCUSE ME! When was I going to be told that you were sending back up with my team! Do you not trust me and my men anymore to get the job done? Do they know that you don't trust us anymore?" yelling entirely pissed off at this point glowing red as my anger ignites my fire ability. I feel Gideon's muscles tighten against me and growl. 

" s**t! You made our mates angry he thinks that you don't trust them to protect us!" Serenity says anxiously. 

"f**k! I didn't mean it like that. I didn't know that he was going to be my mate or any of this. I just got upset that Daddy didn't trust us anymore!" I say frantically 

I spin so that I'm facing my fuming mate, and put my hands on either side of his face to get him to look at me. "De, baby, sweetheart I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you think that I didn't think that you couldn't protect me. It's just when it comes to missions I'm not good with other people around. I don't want anyone to get hurt even by the smallest mistakes, but with my men we are in sync and can compensate for different situations. This was before the whole I'm an extremely rare wolf and a real princess to boot and you as my mate. He told me that me and my team were going after them, and never once had he informed me that he was sending back up with me. I figured that since it was the guys who killed my momma it was a side mission as a birthday present for me. I know that it sounds sick that your mate is twisted, and wants to capture and torture two people. I understand if you hate me but I don't want anyone else to take their lives but me." I say with tears streaming down my face, because let's face it nobody wants a crazy twisted mate. 

He wipes the tears away, hugs me tightly, and kisses me fiercely, " Tesoro I'm not leaving you, and I will walk this path by your side together. I finally found you, you are my mate, and I'm not letting you go that easily. You aren't twisted Lettie, you are in pain and have had to be strong for so long." De says sweetly holding me against his chest looking into my eyes. 

"Well, I'll see you two at the BBQ and party. Go spend some time with each other, but no baby making am I clear?" Daddy says sternly after he cleared his throat from mine and Gideon's mini make out session. 

"Yes daddy, but you still owe me big time for hiding the fact that you were sending a secondary team with my team." I yell back at daddy as Gideon is pulling me out of the office. Daddy smirked back at me.
