Prologue: Three Months Later
Three months had passed since Anna’s apartment in Charton was blown to smithereens and Anna continued with her plan to move back to the farm. She had contacted some of her friends in the military to design a special suit that she could wear just in case someone decided to come to the farm to look for her.
The bodysuit was made of a black bulletproof fitted material that covered her body, including her hands and feet. They made a helmet that distorted her voice when she spoke and it also distorted everyone else’s voice while she had the helmet on. It also only read heat signatures. She had the suit and the helmet designed so it would make it harder for her to give up her identity.
