HEARTBROKEN

1880 Words

The freezing and harsh breeze makes every living soul shudder in the cold atmosphere of winter. It is the end of life, but at the same time, something begins as well. After my extensive sword training, I went back to my room to have a relaxing hot bath, to relax my sour muscles. I get up from the tub and drain the water. I change into comfortable clothes and decide to take a short nap to relax my nerve cells from the all the stress I am taking. Before sleeping, I call Elijah to check on him, and to ask him about his day. I am missing his embrace when he cuddles with me. The call disconnects, and I shrug. Maybe he is still busy in training or doing something important. I turn the lights off and drive into a peaceful sleep.   Elijah standing at the balcony of the bell tower, all alone.
