Chapter Two: Second Piece

665 Words
Yvain's POV Was he the man I found in my house? I thought to myself as I looked at the empty lamppost. Before finally walking away from my shop to my apartment. I walked to the nearest bus. Mind still lingering from that mysterious man. Why do I feel familiar with him? Why does my heart pound when I see him? His eyes, his dark navy-blue eyes sparkle through the moonlight. It pulls you, making you mesmerize. Why am I feeling this way? It's both scary and confusing. My heart keeps pounding, beating hard and fast the more I think about him. I shake my head, trying to remove him from my thoughts. No, I should just focus on my work and myself. I sighed tiredly as I leaned to the bus and then slowly fell asleep. {An Hour Later} I slowly opened my eyes. As soon as I wake up, I see a man staring at me while I was leaning my head on his shoulders. He smiled softly at me, so I fixed myself and avoided his gaze. "I — uh, I'm sorry." I mumbled softly, my cheeks turning red from embarrassment. What was I even thinking? Or maybe I wasn't thinking at all. I avoided his gaze, yet he kept looking at me. I just hope he forgets about it. I smiled awkwardly at him again before staring at the bus window. "Don't be embarrassed. Its fine. Everyone falls asleep when they are tired. I don't mind helping out a pretty girl like you." He continued to smile at me, showing those perfect dimples. His golden eyes shining bright. My breath hitches and I almost forgot to breathe. I found myself staring at him for a few seconds before he started laughing as I immediately stood up. I checked the window as I realized I had already passed my apartment. OMG what the hell is happening to me? I cursed at myself as I hurriedly panicked and told the driver to stop before I stumbled and ran along the bus, stepping outside the bus in a hurry. Kyro's POV I was waiting for the bus to arrive so I could go and visit my parent's graveyard. It's been 5 years since they went missing, and no one is even taking them seriously. I need to find the truth behind what really happened in that storm. I sighed to myself as I looked at the sky before stepping inside the bus that had just arrived. I stood up for a few seconds looking for an empty seat when I found a vacant seat next to a sleeping girl. I walked slowly and sat down beside her when she suddenly leaned her head to my shoulder. I tried to move gently, wanting to fix her posture, but then her hair went to her face, covering her. Suddenly, I found myself smiling. I didn't even notice myself staring at her. i just gently tucked her hair behind her ears and slowly adjusted her head to a comfortable state. Her heart beat softly, and so is her breathing. I continued to stare at her when a few minutes passed by, and she finally woke up. Her eyes flutter open softly and slowly like butterfly wings. I again continued to smile at her when she suddenly jumped from her seat, embarrassed and cheeks turning red. My ears suddenly perked up, and my ears turned red. Damn, she's so cute! I tried to look away but I just could. My heart pounded, ears still red. I reached out my arm and opened my mouth to ask for her name when, suddenly, she panicked and hurriedly got off the bus, leaving me shocked and mused. I just laughed it out, clearly amused and enjoying whatever had just happened. i smiled to myself, staring at the window looking at where the girl ran. Damn, she's cute. I need to see her again, and this time, I have to know her.
