Wall jumped from the car before it had even stopped. Luckily Heath, Laney, and Duke had turned up at the motel minutes before he had shifted and torn the building down. His feet had just hit the earth when he heard the shot ring out. For a heart-stopping second, he didn’t know what to do. Then he took off running toward the sound.
