Two days before the most awaited marriage...
"Where is she?"
"Hurry and find her,"
The maids, servants and knights of Viscount Maestre were running back and forth.
"Lady Vivienne!" They screamed here and there, looking for the missing lady.
Unbeknownst to them, the missing lady was standing at the roof top of the tallest tower of the mansion.
Her hair was long and black, she was wearing a long black dress as well, and tears were endlessly flowing in her dull brown eyes.
The wind blew, but there was not a single fear whether she would fall or not at such a high distance.
"If I fall here, then the wedding will be cancelled and I will be free from all the suffering that I will bring to the world!" She cried in a most dramatic way.
"To marry a man with the highest caliber in the kingdom, no, not just in the kingdom but one of the greatest men in the world. Such pedigree is not suitable for one of the most insignificant people in the world!" She raised her hands as if she was pleading in the gods in the skies. "Hear me gods of the world! My greatest fear right now is the world will come to an end if such a great man marries someone lowly like me!"
"Lady Vivienne, the world will not be destroyed. Your fear is unfounded."
Gasp! "Raya! How did you find me here?"
Lady Vivienne Maestre, the soon to be bride of the Count Gabrielle Buanacilla. Aside from the details mentioned in her first chapter, there was one thing that was never mentioned. The second daughter has the hobby of being negative to herself and extremely overdramatic about it.
"Milady, let me escort you back to your room now," Raya, Vivienne's personal maid since she was five years old. She was already used to her ladyship's crazy and strange antics that the rest of the world doesn't know. However, it was not only her ladyship that was strange.
"Viviena, Dear! Go down in there! You're mother dear would not be able to take it if something where to happened to you!" On the ground, a woman dressed in elaborated and colorful dress screamed. Her face has colorful and exaggerated make up. "Life might be full of ups and downs, but as long as you continue to live, you will see that everything will be alright!"
Viscountess Yolanda Maestre, the mother of Lady Vivienne. Compared to her daughter's over pessimistic attitude, the Viscountess has the hobby of being positive in an overly dramatic passion.
*Boogsh!*
All of the sudden, Vivienne and Raya, her personal maid found themselves falling on the ground. The tower where they was standing was cut in two.
"Hoho! Daughter, you need to work out more. A healthy body is always equals to a strong mind! This will make you ready for any challenges that you will suddenly face ahead! Like marrying the Count!" A muscled man landed on the roof perfectly.
Viscount Nicholas Maestre. The head of the family and Vivienne's father. He has the hobby of working out to the bones and show it off to others in an overdramatic way.
"Ahh, I'm falling..." Vivienne's scream was low and dull. "If I hit the ground, my insides will be squashed. Then the debris of the tower will smashed to me as well. It will be an instant death."
"Air bubble!" Raya chanted. She was suddenly surrounded by wind. Vivienne was also covered by a ball of wind, before she could hit the ground.
"Again, Raya waste her power in a such insignificant person."
"You're not such an insignificant person, Milady. You are the best Lady I ever saved." Raya landed with calmness.
"Horray for a new life!" The Viscountess cheered as confettis popped out of nowhere. "Let's live our best from now on without any regrets!"
The Viscount do summersaults and landed perfectly in both feet on the ground, "Vivienne come join me to run for another mile. Let's have some exercise!" Then he started doing some push ups.
Confetti and cheers. A mass of destruction from the once standing tower. Servants that were all around and busy searching awhile ago, now none of them couldn't be found anywhere.
And a lady, who kept speaking downgrading words beside her. "I cause such mess again. I'm a dead weight..."
Raya's calmness was certainly frightening despite the chaos occuring as if she was already used to it. But this was not the finale of such chaos...
'Ah. Finally, they're here.' Raya thought in relief.
Everyone became silent as a sudden pressure emerged from the whole mansion of the Viscounty.
"Mother, father, how many times do I have to tell you not destroy and make a mess in the mansion..."
"Big sister Vivienne, everyone's been looking for you. Do you know how long has been everyone searching for you?"
The youngest of the Maestre bloodline. The two nine years old, Maestre twins. Mifa Maestre, the youngest daughter and elder twin, Fami Maestre, the youngest son and the younger twin. They have identical dark hair and sparkly brown eyes. Both of them were wearing blue jumper suits with pine tree patterns. Mifa was holding a big white cat while Fami was pulling a small black puppy on his arms.
Looking at them, they seemed to be adorable little kids. But if you notice, that nothing seemed normal on this family, then you might right... That these young kids were not as simple as that.
"My dearies, you're just in time for the celebration of new life!" The Viscountess ran towards them with her hands opened wide.
"Mother, please return to your room, I'll lecture you there! Return now!!!" Mifa screamed out loud and their mother disappeared.
"Let's practice swordmanships, children!"
Before the count could ever reached them, a hammer and nail suddenly appeared in his hands.
"Father, since you are the one who destroyed the tower, fix it. You will not do any work out until you fix it. Fix this mess!!!" Fami yelled out as well.
"What?! Don't be cruel to my son! I'm still your father." Their father's body suddenly began moving towards the debris of the destroyed tower.
The Maestre Twins. They have the habit of making everything in order. And they always do it in an overly dramatic anger. If there were no chaos, everything should be fine. However, there was never a day that there was no chaos in the mansion. Their magic was as long as it was related to establishing peace, they would be able to command and control the person who caused the chaos to fix it.
"Thank you for finding her, as always Raya."
"I'm only doing my job as her personal maid, young lady and young master," Raya bowed.
"Bring her back to her room and clean her up, Raya." Mafi said.
"Yes,"
The Maestre Family. The Count was right about them. They were hiding something. However, they were more than a wolf hiding in a sheep's skin.
There were remaining three more family members of the Maestre. The eldest son and heir of the Viscounty, Julian Maestre. Ceres Maestre, the second child and the eldest daughter and Enoch Maestre, the fourth child and second son.
Raya let out a sigh as she carried her ladyship back to her room. "If those three are here, it would be more chaotic." Raya let out a sigh. "It's not like it would make a difference, since it has always been like this since I served here. The strongest family in the world. But I'm worried..."
Raya glanced at the setting sun. 'What was the late King thinking, setting a marriage proposal like that with the Maestre? Does he think he can really tie down my masters with a marriage like that to the kingdom? And what does the madam and master think accepting such proposal?'
Raya let out another sigh. "It seems the coming days will be even more troublesome than before."
