Lucas’ POV:
“Catalina!” Kent yells as I hear her nose c***k and she falls to the ground, knocking out.
I rush to her and pick her up just as Derrick reaches with a worry look on her face, his eyes are dark; I guess his wolf want to get out.
“You!” He points at Catalina’s opponent, “you’ll pay for this”, he growls.
He turns pale, “I- I can explain”, he stutters.
He charges toward him.
“Beta Derrick!” I yell and he stops, “stand down.”
“But he-”
“I said stand down”, I order in my Alpha voice, “dual is over everyone!” I add.
Everyone beings to leave, but a few stay around watching curiously at us.
“Let’s go inside Derrick”, Rosella tugs on Derrick’s arm who’s eyes are still dark watching an unconscious Catalina In my arm.
“Not now Rose”, he shrugs her off, her face full of hurt.
