Cat’s POV:
“Hey, I’m happy you’re okay”, Sam hugs me when she sees me after I shower and walk downstairs for breakfast.
“Me too”, Melina adds.
“What you did last night?” I ask.
“Worried about you, the Alpha wouldn’t let anyone in to see you”, Sam scoffs.
“I’m okay now besides Derrick stayed the night and of course Rose was there”, I roll my eyes.
“She’s his mate, let it go and move on”, she states.
“You’re right I should focus on myself, let’s go get breakfast”, I nod.
“Why change of mind?”
“I’m tired, Derrick has a mate and I’ll find my own eventually”, I shrug.
“Good for you, we should hang out later tonight”, Sam suggests.
“Actually I got plans, maybe another time”, I decline.
