“How long are you going to use Bella as your fake partner? Or are you planning to make her your girlfriend for real?” Maria asked me as I drove her home after sending Isabella.
“Until my family’s Christmas dinner. Then perhaps I will plan a scenario with Isabella when we have to part ways. For now, we need to pretend that we’re the happiest couple in front of the tabloids.” Maria sighed.
“Is there a reason for you to do that?” I nodded while we waited for the red light to turn green.
“Because I want to avoid meeting anyone, my grandparents choose to be my partner. Even after I tell them I’m gay, they will push any men into my life to prove that being gay is just a phase. I don’t think it’s a phase since I’ve been having the hots for the same s*x since I was twelve.” Mari
