His Vampire Fiancé

Chapter 1

It is a beautiful day; Evelyn was on her way to get coffee from her favorite restaurant before going to school. She entered the café whose walls are painted in pink color with cute doodles on it. She ordered her caramel macchiato and sat at her usual place near the window at the far corner. She heard people talking in an unknown language inside the room behind her, as she couldn’t understand she didn’t mind it. But when the people came out from the room, she was shocked to see to guys coming out and looking at her.

There were two guys, one with silver hair and the other one has pitch black. They were wearing clothes with so many layers; she was confused seeing them like that as it was summer now. And they were extremely handsome, their faces had no flaws it was perfect and their body looked like sculpted. The one with the black hair spoke, “Looks like this one right here knows our secrets now” She was mad by the way he addressed her. And confused by the secret he speaks about. She doesn’t know anything they spoke about.

The one with the silver hair asked, “Did you hear us speaking?” looking dead in her eye. So she got little scared and told him, “Yeah, I heard you were speaking, But I-”. Before she could finish her sentence the guy kneeled in front of her and took her left hand.  The guy spoke, “Since you know about us, I don’t have any other choice but to do this. Be my fiancé” Before she could register the words the guy bit on her ring finger. She pulled her finger and saw his face. He had fangs and he licked the blood on it like it was his favorite thing. She stuttered out “Who...Who are you? Why did you bit me?” Before Evelyn sat at the table.

 In the back room. “Do you think this is the safest place to talk about this” The guy with the black hair spoke. “Lucas, cut this and just tell me the reason why you came here?” Lucas holds his heart dramatically, “Is this what I get for being a good friend and looking out for you?”. The silver haired sighed, “If you don’t have anything important to say, then I’m leaving”. He was about to leave but Lucas holds his hand and stopped him. “Listen Ryan, it isn’t safe for you being here. You should probably return now, the longer you stay here, the more it is risk for you to get caught”

“I don’t care and I got a job here. So I am not coming back” Ryan spoke with determination. “For god’s sake, Ryan the council members are already angry with the fact that you didn’t attend the meetings and report to them. And if the Blood Elixir knows about a vampire roaming in this city, they will surely make a big fuss about it. And what if something happens to you? We are not taking any risks, you’re probably returning with me” Lucas told his decision and dragged Ryan out of the back room. And that was the moment they saw Evelyn sitting outside.

She looked around her for someone to come and help her. But they were acting like they don’t even see them. Well that’s true the place has been excluded by a spell Lucas has put on them. She looked at them with fear, “Are you a monster? Don’t come near me” Ryan took a step forward, “Oh no dear. I am a Vampire. My name is Ryan. And this guy right here is my friend Lucas” She looked at them as if they are crazy and started running from the place.

When she reached school, her friends Hazel and Zoe were waiting for her near the lockers. She quickly went to them to share what happened at the café but was afraid what if something happens to them. So she didn’t say anything to them. “Hey guys, what are you doing?” “Hey Evelyn, we were talking about the Fresher’s party. Come let’s go to our class”

When they arrived at the class it was filled with whispers and noises coming from the students. They sat at their respective seats and start conversing about the fresher’s party. Even though Evelyn was afraid about everything, she didn’t let it show as she was afraid of other’s life around her. When the sound of the door opening, they knew their homeroom teacher is there. But there were not one but two people. One being the school’s Principal Mr. Park and the other one was behind him. 

When the person behind Mr. Park came into view, Evelyn was so shocked to see the vampire from the café standing there with his principal. “Class, since your past homeroom teacher has moved to another city, we are going to have a new homeroom teacher Mr. Ryan Toreador here. He will also be your Math teacher. I hope you guys warm up to him quickly. Now if you’ll excuse me I will take my leave now”
