Let's Make A Deal

~ Daniel's POV ~

“What exactly is going inside that head of yours, huh? Are you sure that you want to go this far for some random girl?

I mean you don’t even know her and yet you are already obsessed with her. I know that what you want is what you get, but this can’t apply to everything. Don’t glare at me with such an angry expression on your face.

I am just advising you as your friend. I know that in the end, you will do what you feel like doing”, asserted Jason in a calm voice whilst he was driving the car with a confused look on his face.

I know that he has too many questions inside his head, but I don’t have time to waste on answering them.

There is one thing that everyone knows about me and that’s Daniel Kingston always gets what he desires to have and this is the first time that I want to have someone by my side at any cost.

I don’t think that with her by my side, I will get bored.

Then suddenly, Jason’s phone vibrated and he glanced at the screen of the mobile.

I don’t know why, but he looked kind of tense when he read the message.

“We have to get back to the mansion Daniel.

Your father wants to see you right at this moment.

I don’t know what it is, but it’s sounding kind of serious to me,” said Jason in a serious tone whilst I glanced outside the window with a sad smile on my face.

What else can I expect from him? He only remembers me when he needs my help with something or when he wants to order something for me.

I don’t want to see his face.

At least not for now. He wants me to do something for him and by now he must be aware of what I did with that loser who wanted to marry Jamie.

He will surely bore me by scolding me for my actions. I don’t think that there is even a single day when he liked any of my actions.

I immediately took out my mobile phone from my pants pocket and after that, I called my so-called father.

After two or three rings he finally picked up the call and asked in a cold voice, “What is it, Daniel? I think that I have already messaged Jason to come back to you.

Don’t think that I am not aware of what you did with Felix.

How dare you ruin the marriage alliance between Jamie and Felix! I am certain that I have not commanded you to do something like this, right?

You are just a pawn for me Daniel and you need to get this thing straight in that head of yours.

Sometimes, I feel that you are more like your mother who was an emotional fool.

Well, you already know what kind of ending awaits for the people who don’t listen to me, right?”

Is he seriously warning me right now? Well, I am not at all shocked by his words or the way he is threatening me to only listen to him and he dared to bring mother’s topic in this useless conversation.

 “Just cut the crap dear father and tell me what exactly do you want me to do this time?

You know that I don’t like to talk to you for too long and nor do I like to see that cunning face of yours, right?

So, let’s just not waste each others precious time and get straight to the point”, I replied to him while Jason only glanced at me with wide eyes.

I know that he must be shocked by my words, but apart from Celine, nothing is going inside my head.

“You... you dared to talk back with me and that too in such a rude manner! Have you forgotten that you are talking with your father, Daniel Kingston?

Don’t worry as I have already found a guy for Jamie. She will prove to be an asset for once in her life. Don’t get between my business Daniel. 

You do know what I can do to make things happen according to me my wishes, right?”, yelled my so-called father in a cold voice while a smirk appeared on my face.

He thinks that I seriously care about what he can do with me, huh?

“Just state your business, father as I have other things to handle which are way more into than your bullshit.

If you do want to continue with your useless scolding then I am ending the phone call”, I exclaimed in a bored tone and he immediately stopped me from doing so.

“Wai... wait! There is a man who dared to backstab the Kingston’s. He stole the money from our business and after that, he tried to hide his misdeeds by tampering with all the evidence against him.

I want him dead at any cost as I don’t like to have backstabbers by my side. I am sending his current location to you.

He must be using that money in gambling. Make sure that he regrets stealing from the Kingston’s, alright?”, said my father in a calm voice whilst I ended the call without replying to him.

Let’s just finish his work quickly so that I can finally enjoy the rest of the day with my Celine. I know that once she will understand about my powers, she will surely embrace me in a tight hug as no woman in this place doesn’t love a luxurious life, right?

I am certain that she will be no different from them.

“What did your father say, huh?

He seriously uses you as one of his tools. Sometimes, I think why do you always listen to your father?

Is there any hidden secret which you are hiding from me?”, asked Jason while I only glanced in his direction with a smile on my face.

I immediately changed the topic by telling him the location of our next target which my father asked me to take care of, but there is something about his name which is looking kind of similar to me. I mean, I am certain that I have seen this name somewhere.

While I was thinking suddenly my eyes fell on the file which have the personal information about Celine.

Now, I remember where I have seen this similar name. The world is seriously too small.

“Drive directly to the Casino. There is a man who is going to help me out. Things are going to be quite interesting from now onwards, Jason.

I finally found the way to have her”, I told Jason in a calm voice while his complete focus was on driving.

I am certain that he must be confused by my words, but I can see the path.

He only nodded his head and after driving for a while we finally reached the casino which belongs to the Kingston’s.

I then stepped out of the car and Jason silently followed me. The moment we entered the casino all the staff bowed their heads in front of me.

I was looking here and there and my eyes fell on the man whose information my so-called father sent me on my mobile phone.

“So, we are finally meeting face to face, huh?

There is something I heard about you and my father has specially asked me to finish you off, but you see, I am a kind-hearted man and killing someone is just not my style so, let me make things easier for you by giving you a fantastic offer which will be enough to change your complete life”, I asserted to him whilst the man looked at my direction with wide eyes.

He is looking quite drunk and the way he is yelling at my people is enough to tell me that he is losing all the money in gambling.

I snapped my fingers and everyone present in the room immediately took their leave. I then sat on the chair which Jason brought for me and the man only started to shiver in fear.

“I... I will return all your money to you, Mr Daniel Kingston. Give me a few more days and I will return everything.

Don’t do anything with me. I never thought to betray you and your father, but I desperately needed money at that time and that’s why I stole some funds from Kingston’s business.

I will do everything according to your commands, but please save me from Mr Kingston’s wrath”, he cried out loud while he fell on my legs.

I looked at his desperate expression while I kept one leg over the other.

Well, he thinks that it’s my father that he needs to be wary of, but when he will listen to my deal, his face will surely turn completely pale.

“I can save you, but there is a condition that you need to fulfil before I could help you out”, I said to him in a cold voice whilst I glanced in his direction with a smirk on my face.

The man looked quite frightened by my words and he then tried to ask me in a stuttered tone whilst his eyes were fixated on me, “Wh... what do you want me to do? I am ready to sacrifice anything if I will be able to save myself from all this ruckus.”

I knew he won’t disappoint me and now no one will be able to get between me and Celine.

“Well, I want your niece. I don’t know why, but she has left quite a deep impression on me. So, Let's mak a deal, alright? 

See, I love to keep things simple”, I responded to him whilst I looked straight into his eyes.

Jason tried to stop me by keeping his hand on my shoulder, but the moment I glared in his direction, he immediately looked down on the floor.

This time I won’t let anyone interfere in my plans. Not even Jason.

“Wh... what! Celine?

How do you know her and what exactly does she has anything to do with all of this?”, asserted the man in a loud voice whilst he looked at me with a stunned expression on his face.

Why is he reacting in such a manner? I don’t believe that he cares about her.

Meanwhile,

Celine was waiting for Krystal. She was looking at the screen of her mobile phone while she was walking on the streets.

She was in deep thought for some reason. She only sighed as her mind was still filled with all the memories of the club.

“Why can’t I stop thinking about yesterday’s incidents. Argh! Something is definitely wrong with me. This is all happening because of Krystal.

I shouldn’t have agreed with her. I should have said no to her when she forced me for this clubbing thing. Why can’t things go according to my wishes?

Why is that man’s word affecting me? Maybe, I am just thinking too much and nothing else. Where exactly is Krystal?

She asked me to meet her, but there is no trace of hers.

Why is she texting me when we are going to meet?

I hope she is not in some kind of trouble”, mumbled Celine under her breath whilst she was walking on the road while her complete focus was on the mobile phone as she was replying to the texts of Krystal.

Celine was not able to understand the exact reason for her anger, but she was sure that it must be happening because of Daniel Kingston and she was blaming him for everything.

While she was thinking about these things, she glanced in her right direction and she gasped in shock as she saw a car which was coming towards her direction with full speed and this thing was enough to make her stunned.

She covered herself while her mobile phone fell to the ground.

“Stop!”, she yelled in a loud voice while she glanced in the direction of the car with wide eyes.
