In the Mansion,
Martha's eyes were fixated on them while she was laughing at both Daniel’s and Jamie’s choices. She thought that her son is surely not like them and she believes that he will surely marry a girl who will be worthy to become his wife and the daughter-in-law of the Kingston’s. She is just waiting for the right moment to disclose everything to Elliot as she doesn’t want to ruin her son's chance of becoming the next mafia leader of New Orleans city. Everything should belong to her son from the starting, but Daniel snatched everything from him. That’s what Martha always thinks about Elliot's son. She is aware that Elliot is someone who doesn’t give a damn about his children and that’s why she asked Tristan to maintain a good relationship with his uncle.
