"What?!" He exclaimed, surprising the other people in the car. Agent Kleio looked quickly at his partner before returning his focus to the road. "What happened?" Agent Kleio asked but was signaled by the Agent to wait. "He's brought to the autopsy to see the possible causes for his death" The agent from the other side of the phone answered. "Did you get any information out of him?" He decided to ask. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like it was an answer he wanted to hear. "Unfortunately he was killed before he could even say something." Agent Brook hits the dashboard of the vehicle, "Damn it. We're on our way. Thank you." he said before hanging up on the call. "Uncle? What happened?" Daexoen asked The agent looks back at the trio, "Do you remember the guy who planted the bomb?" He started. His nephew nodded, "Yes, what happened to him by the way? I remember he suddenly fainted that day." Daexoen answered. The agent sighed, "It was quite a while before he started to wake up. He just gained consciousness yesterday and he was supposed to be interrogated today" he paused for a moment. Seeing there was more to the story, "But?" Styx asked. "He suddenly died before even trying to answer the questions" He answered. "WHAT?" Agent Kleio exclaimed, nearly stopping the car on the road. The three students looked at each other, "Oh. I thought something big happened" Daexoen said disappointedly. "What a shame. Not even a couple of days awake" Sage suddenly said. "It wasn't even an eventful death." Daexoen joined, "If he were killed during the bomb threat then that would have been more worth it" He added. "Hey, Look at the bright side" Styx suddenly said as he lays his arms on the back of his head "At least he did something thrilling once." he joked causing the other male to chuckle and the female to give a small grin. The two agents looked at them for a moment. Agent Brook kept his eyes glued at the three, while Agent Kleio stole subtle glances through the rearview mirror. They were confused as well as surprised at the three joking about such things. It puzzled them as to why they didn't care about the possible witness they would have had. "Aren't you at least shocked?" Agent Kleio asked. The three stopped their conversation, "I mean I was quite expecting him to get killed, it was quite obvious he was sent by someone who despised the fact of being caught and him slipping out the truth would have ruined his plan" Daexoen lazily answered as he looked out the window once again. Styx Shrugged at his father, "I wasn't there that time, so I can't relate with the victim. But it looked like he didn't play a big role in this case. Sure whatever knowledge he knew might have been an advantage but it wouldn't have been as useful as you've wish." Styx added, not looking at the two. Sage looked at the two agents with a cold stare, "He was just a pawn in this case, like what Styx said, he wasn't a big character in this game." She said, before looking back at Daexoen who was now looking at the other. "But what got me interested was why now? Why kill him now if they could have killed him when he was asleep? They must have wanted him alive for something even in just a little moment" Sage answered, earning a nod from the other two. "That's not impossible, even if he was well protected they were determined to kill him." Styx said. "It must have been a crucial piece of information for the suspect to actually wait for him to wake up then kill him the next day." Daexoen answered. "Then why say he's useless? Doesn't that mean he knows something important?" Agent Kleio asked them The three shook their heads in disbelief, "Yes that information might be big but not big enough to create a damage to the case. If anything I don't think it's related. But like we've said we already knew the moment he collapsed, he would have been terminated immediately" Sage frankly said. "It just surprised us when he was actually prolonged until today," Daexoen added. "After watching the video, Even I thought he'd be killed the next day" Styx agreed with the two. Sage grunts, "Don't remind me of that stupid video. I swear that footage is nothing but a nuisance" She said "Tell me about it. I could barely enter the campus without everyone looking at me" Daexoen sighed slumping down on the seat "Speaking of, everyone has been so annoying. They kept asking me why we're hanging out and if I joined your duo and blablabla" Styx also said. The two agents stayed silent while the three continued their conversation until they reached the station. They instructed the trio to wait for them inside a room since they had to get some papers from agent Lucas. It wasn't a long process as the papers were instantly handed to them by the Chief's assistant. As they were heading back to the trio Agent Kleio couldn't help but start the conversation that both agents knew were still running around their heads. "They didn't care," Agent Kleio opened up. Agent Brook nodded, "That's what I've been curious about as well. Even if he's not a big help it's still a shocker. He's still a person." he said. "Maybe that's who they are," Agent Kleio murmured, loud enough for the both of them. The other agent abruptly stopped his tracks before looking at him, "What do you mean?" He asked. Agent Kleio stopped as well, "Admit it or not those three are beyond their years. We both had our fair shares of gloat once it came to the two boys. They are intellectually intelligent and although we hate to admit it, we each had a hunch that they lack emotional knowledge." he said. "I get it. They're so smart they focus on one point. The criminal case, meaning they don't care about these minor details. For them everything is calculated, they set a group in their heads. They already categorized them based on importance. Once they feel like a person or event isn't significant to the case they cast them out." Brook said. His partner nods at his hypothesis, "That's why they didn't care about Ferestor. That's also why they had the courage to talk to Agent Yuan like that. They're emotionally inattentive to those who have less value in this case" Kleio added. "I noticed Sage the most. She's quiet but she's secretly confused about the emotional outburst around her. While those two aren't as dense as the female." Brook said as he recalled the interaction between the three the other day. "Those two, although unlike Sage they understand human emotions. They know when to react and what to feel in certain situations." Agent Kleio said. "However, it isn't like how we feel it. Those two need to analyze the situation and how one would mostly react in certain ways. Unfortunately, they lack attentiveness towards others they don't find value for." He added. Agent Brook looked at him with wide eyes, "Are you saying they're much like the female? Still emotionally dense but are just more observant?" he questioned. His partner shrugged, "I think so. I haven't talked to them but mostly likely." Agent Kleio answered. "Well, isn't someone using his Psychology major" Agent Brook jokes, trying to get rid of the serious atmosphere around them. Agent Kleio nudges the other, "Shut up. I couldn't help but examine them" he confessed, leaving a fist of laughter from the duo. As the laughter dies down agent Brook couldn't help but confess to the other, "Maybe that's why I'm more worried now. Not just for their physical safety but their emotional references as we. I'm afraid this would endanger them at some point." he admitted. Agent Kleio slung an arm around his shoulder, "We're here. We'll keep an eye on them" his partner answered before entering the room the trio was in. As soon as Brook saw the three he still couldn't help but think about them. About the conversation both of them had. Even with the assuring words from his partner he couldn't help but think. "A great group yet also worrisome. How intelligent can you be to be this dense in emotions? I'm scared that one day this will be their greatest downfall" He thought as he looked at them once again with a sorrowful expression.
