You bring someone this young to my Club
Adrien’s Pov
I was bored out of my f*****g mind, reclined on the club lounge’s leather couch, a tumbler of whiskey in hand, while nursing what had to be my third drink, maybe fourth, I'd stop counting.
I let the burn settle in my chest.
It was the same s**t every weekend. Same circus. Same parade of women my friends brought to f**k. I’d hoped to leave early tonight, but the truth is, the idea of going home irritated me more.
I’d stopped by the house earlier with Roxy to pick up some files I left behind, and ended up bending her over my bed for a quick hard stroking s*x before leaving her there.
But going back… I wasn’t in the mood to face my father’s newest fresh start.
The thought alone made me down another swallow of whiskey.
Why he felt the need to marry again after what my mother did… I’ll never understand.
I don’t even call her my mother anymore. The b***h disgusts me. Which made me so sure that this new woman will be no different. A deceiver. That's all they are. Another one to play my father.
I tipped the glass back, drained it and set it down before turning only to meet some blue eyes staring intensely at me.
She stood biting her lip, her throat bobbing with a nervous swallow.
Couldn’t have been more than nineteen.
5 '5 maybe, long black hair, plain short skirt, and black top, with actual looking freckles which made her stand out of all the fake-dolled-up women I’d seen tonight.
And obviously a total nerd, and a nervous little thing trying to hold her self.
And struggling, a tell I’d seen a thousand times.
I scoffed. She had no clue how easy she was to read.
I took a slow drink, letting my gaze drag down and back up.
Women like her always thought they were hard to read.
They weren’t.
Most of them threw themselves at me without shame.
And I used them for exactly what they offered.
No more. No less.
Roxy understood that better than anyone, that’s why I still keep her around. She gave me what I wanted and she got the same. A good f**k.
Roxy caught my eye from across the room, smirking.
I sighed. “Roxy,” I said as she approached, “why would you bring someone this young into my club?”
The guys fell silent beside me.
They knew my voice when it dropped like that.
The girl’s expression changed instantly….her wide-eyed heat gone, replaced by a spark of anger. She didn’t look too happy about me calling her a child.
Roxy slid into the seat beside me, crossed her legs, and poured herself a whiskey.
“June, this is Adrien. Adrien, June,” she said casually.
“She’s my new friend.”
I raised a brow.
“Since when do you make friends?”
“Since today,” she answered, lifting her glass.
I glanced at June again.
“Is she even old enough to drink?”
Roxy shrugged.
“Old enough to keep up.”
Then she winked at a blonde across the room. The girl got up immediately and moved toward us.
Roxy leaned close to June, brushing her lips against her ear.
“See you later, sweetheart.”
Then she was off with the blonde, leaving the spot beside me open for exactly ten seconds before Marcus slid into it.
Aside from being my f**k buddy, Roxy liked women's too and did whatever she wanted outside my bed.
I never cared. She kept things clean, we understood each other, and there were no feelings involved.
I sat back, pouring myself a whiskey.
Marcus smiled at the girl June.
“So… June, right?” he said, moving forward, and resting his elbows on the loungy couch’s top close to her head.
“Where do you live? Haven’t seen you around here before.”
“I just moved here,”
Marcus’s grin widened. “New girl, huh? That explains it.” His eyes moved slowly over her legs.
The other guys laughed.
I stayed quiet, nursing what was left in my glass.
Another one, Derek, leaned over the armrest from his side. “So you moved here alone, or with family?”
June cleared her throat. “With family,” she answered, straightening a little.
Marcus smirked, moving closer. “Well, family or not… you’re welcome to hang with us anytime, sweetheart.”
He said his hands, going to the hem of her skirt, and I was immediately on my feet before I realized it.
“That’s enough.”
He raised his hands.
“Relax, man. Just talking.”
I ignored him, and grabbed her wrist and pulled her to her feet.
She gasped, her eyes wide as I led her down the stairs and out into the cold air.
She twisted her wrist, trying to pull away but I did not let go until we got to my car.
Only then did I drop her wrist, turning to face her.
Her chest rose and fell quickly, her face in anger. “What the hell is your problem?” she snapped.
“My problem,” I said flatly, leaning on my hood, “Is you f*****g walking in here like some lost f*****g schoolgirl and letting those fuckers eye f**k you.”
She squared her shoulders, “I can handle myself.”
I let out a dour laugh. “Handle yourself? You were about two seconds from being fingered under the table if I hadn’t stepped in.”
Her cheeks flamed, but the she shot back,
“Why do you care?” she shot back.
“Unless you’re just pissed it wasn’t you under my skirt...”
I stepped forward, turning her suddenly so her back was against me.
She gasped in surprise.
My hand slid to her throat….lightly while my other hand lifted her skirt going under.
I didn’t need to check to know she was soaked. I knew she'd been, when I caught her eye f*****g me, it happens every damn time with every woman.
I heard her faint moaned when I held her there. “If I wanted you,” I said quietly my mouth near her ear.
“I wouldn’t need to ask.”
Her body trembled beneath my hand. I smirked, pulling back to look her in the eye
“But you’re too much of a kid for me to bother with.”
I pulled my hand away and stepped back, leaving her panting against my car.
I opened the door, leaned in, and grabbed one pocket square I always kept in the dash.
While wiping my fingers clean, I glanced back at her. She still hadn’t moved.
“You’re going home,” I said, my voice flat. “I’ll call you a cab. Your little friends are probably in bed right now, where you should be. Not in a f*****g nightclub.”
Her head turns up at that, her nostrils flaring.
“There it is again,” she hissed. “Child. You keep calling me that, It's not going to scare me off.”
I folded the handkerchief slowly, and stuffed it into my pocket. “Well it's better, because that’s what you are. A kid.”
She gave me an angry dour laugh “Well, newsflash, Adrien… whatever it is your name is, this so-called child isn’t going home. And you don’t get to tell me what to do.”
She stepped closer, her blue eyes locking into mine. “If I’m too small for you, fine. But then I’ll just go back inside… find someone else to make out with.” She said walking to the door.
"And besides." she turned looking back to catch my gaze. "I turned nineteen a few days back. So I'm more of an adult now." she remarked going back inside.
I stared after her turning away angryly from the club.
Not my problem.
Shouldn’t be my problem..
I got into my car, and started the engine.
I tightened my hold on the wheel getting ready to drive off, and yet a beat later, I shut it off, and got back out, walking back into the club, before my better judgment could kick in.
She was on the dance floor, dancing with some dickhead.
I pushed past the dancers, took her hand and pulled her away from him.
She let out a gasp as I dragged her away from the crowd, to one of the disused rooms.
I locked the door and within two seconds had her against the wall, my body pressed to hers.
And before I had any idea what the f**k I was doing, my lips were on hers.
